Blackcats said:I think lidlee put the £1.50 boxes the other side of the checkout to stop shoppers loading them up with full priced veg on their way round the shop. However, last week in the fruit aisle I watched a shopper ease open the net bag containing oranges and manage to squeeze in 3 extra oranges.Sealed pot challenge 822

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today thank goodness.
I had to go out to the local shops for bread at 6.30 this morning as I didn't realise my Mr M delivery wasn't coming until 9am and we have no bread for Mr SA's breakfast. He was adamant he couldn't wait until 9am for his toast. Annoyed with myself as I could've picked one up from Lid! yesterday. I usually have the delivery at 6am and now remember there weren't any early morning slots so had to take the 9am one. I've already booked next week's 6am delivery so back to normal next week. Of course he's fast asleep at the moment so will be in trouble if he doesn't get up until after 9 😐
On the plus side that's almost 4,000 steps done already.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, Power Punch at lunchtime, Resistance Bands tonight and a yoga session. I've lost the plot with the 30 day yoga challenge and I'm about 3 days behind but will plod on with it. As I want to incorporate regular yoga into my exercise routine, I'm going to swap Monday's Fun Fitness for a yoga session as the Fun Fitness is too easy and repetitive for me. I think it's aimed at people new to exercise which is great but it's not for me as I've been exercising regularly almost my whole life.
Making a red lentil dhal for tonight's dinner, making 2 portions so I have something quick for tomorrow night.

As it happens the delivery didn't arrive until 10am. However, Mr SA was still asleep at just before 9 so I woke him up and reminded him he said he couldn't wait until 9 for his toast 😐 Bread, milk and marg are the banes of my life as I don't use any of them, no one tells me when we're running out, just when there's none left!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Phewwwwww just caught up.
Glad the cat is better.
Im not surprised you woke Mr SA up…he doesn’t know how lucky he is👏👏👏👏not many would have gone out for his bread. Funny how he can pester for things only important to him but forget to mention bread 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️January spends - £587.581 -
I'm afraid he would have stayed breadless in our household4

Morning all, happy hump day.
I'm in the office today and will be at a work event I've organised for the best part of the day. I'll be glad when it's done as the visitors are externals and I will have to escort them everywhere, even to the toilet - and there are 7 of them! When I ran this event last year I seemed to spend most of my time loitering outside toilet doors 😆
I had to fill out a raft of paperwork yesterday just to get them into the building and there'll be more hoops today with signing them all in and getting them through security. I need a peaked cap and a clipboard 🤣
It will be a good steps day as I've walked into work, just over 8,000 steps, and will be walking back. Plus all the to-ing and fro-ing with the visitors and a Zumba class later.
Tonight's dinner is leftover butternut squash dhal from yesterday.
I will be so ready to sit down tonight!
