I'm finding those 'little' extra things to do, like taking the cat to the vet, can tip the week from 'normal' to 'too much' and you've had a full week. I hope the weekend is relaxing.

It very much is just the "little extra things" that can mess up your week isn't it?  I don't even work anymore, but I do have a routine and a lot of things to do, and 1 extra thing can sometimes throw me completely out. DH might say...."Can you just drop of this parcel for me?"....which if it is at the Evri shop, is not on any normal route I would take to anywhere, so I have to go out of my way. Or I decide to go shopping at a different SM, and by the time I've got home and put it all away, that's the morning gone.  When I went for my hearing test...they said it was a 75 min appt.  But to get there on time, I had to leave early due to commuting traffic, so that took me over half an hour. Then I wanted to get there in time to be able to nip in the loo first....lol.  Then the appt actually dragged into 2 hours ( not that that's a bad thing, as it shows they are doing the job properly), then I came out and needed the loo again, then the drive home.  So all in all, almost 4 hours for 1 hearing test, and then the morning was gone!

It was the extra things definitely @Makingabobor2. Although I did the vet trip on a WFH day, as it took an hour longer than expected, I ended up working later to make the time up. I really wanted to do my beloved Zumba class but was running late getting dinner started so in the end I did it in the kitchen while I kept an eye on the cooking. Multi tasking 😆

That sort of multi tasking is not good though. You need to concentrate and relax when exercising. I hate it when I haven't got time to do my planned exercise sessions. Also a bit dangerous cooking and dancing around the kitchen....lol

Busy Saturday, you will be ready for your prosecco later.  Maybe you just need VM to send you out a new Tivo box. We had a new one sent when ours was playing up, and its fine now. I think its like mobile phones, they are forever updating them and all of a suden you find that your particular model is not working quite as it should

It's so annoying to leave the kitchen clean and tidy and come home to other people's mess.  To be fair MrBC is quite tidy (in the kitchen though less so everywhere else) but when the kids were teens that made more mess than I thought humanly possible in the kitchen.  Crumbs, lids, empty yoghurt pots, dirty spoons, dirty cups, glasses and bowls, cereal boxes, crisp wrappers and in a very short time.  Crikey it's all coming back to me like a kitchen nightmare but not a Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare 😵‍💫

Excuse for leaving the empty packaging on the worktop.  I left it out so that you knew I'd eaten it.

I can't bear that sort of task, @Sun_Addict - the whole 'making bits of tech talk to other bits of tech' scenario. Luckily for me, it's one of Mr F's most enjoyable ways to spend an afternoon. Each to their own, as in all things, I suppose.
