Glad the work is progressing well.

Morning all, happy Friday eve.
Just waiting for the plasterer to arrive. I've cleared everything out of the dining room except for the sofa, I've stood it on it's end, hopefully he'll be able to work around it, if not he can push it into the kitchen. One good thing about having an old house is that the rooms are all big.
I advertised the table and chairs on a local FB group and had one person initially interested but the table was too big in the end. Having thought about it, I think the table and chairs would work in the new layout so I'm not planning to advertise elsewhere just yet. I'll have another think about it when the decorating has finished. If I got rid of the table I think the room would be a bit bare with my desk moving upstairs. If someone comes forward for it, so be it.
Regarding SIL's beef with us not prioritising the downstairs toilet, what she doesn't realise is that we need to get a new loft hatch and ladders first as we store all the stuff people would normally put in the loft in the under stairs cupboard. The loft hatch/ladders are on the list for next year's renovations.
Today's exercise will be dog walking later this morning and Zumba at 5.30. I usually do a lunchtime live class but not sure if I'll manage to fit this in unless the plasterer goes for his lunch.
Money wise it could well be another NSD. Some big spend days coming up in the next few days though when I have to pay for all this work 😆

The plasterer is here and he’s the same one who did all our plastering when we had the new kitchen and bathroom 7 years ago. At least we know he’s a good one. The joiner arranged him so it’s entirely coincidental. Was a surprise to open the door to him!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

You’ll know he does a good job if you’ve used his services before 👏👏

The plasterer has finished boarding the ceiling and is coming back tomorrow to skim it. Then that’s another bit done. Mr SA is happy because he’s managed to scrounge some screws from him 😆
I decided to go to Lid! this morning instead of tomorrow so it got me out in the lovely sunshine and clocked up almost 10,000 steps in one go. Now qualified for the free yoghurt type item.Going to make spiced butternut squash stew with herb dumplings for tonight’s dinner. In survey news I just need another £1.15 to cash out £25 from Opinium.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
