Prices for alcohol have already been raised at the beginning of October due to the minimum alcohol pricing thing. Sigh.
Glad that you got the paint.  I do not know how you got on the bus with it all!

Oh SA how dare you enter that men only sanctum without Mr SA. :D

I think working from jome is a good plan and might stop Mr SA interfering with the builder too much. Good luck.

I love the evidence of your great taste in lampshades! Glad you got the right paint at the right price, too.

All of your projects have reminded me that it really is time that we were making a start on touching up a few bits around the house. There is nothing too bad but a few scuffs here and there and a dodgy bit of plaster in the living room!

Just can't find the motivation to make a start on any of it.......
  • I guess anything interesting that happens in the house is something for MrSA to talk about, but I get how frustrating it is. She isn’t involved in helping, so shouldn’t be suggesting anything. The grant rules are ridiculous, you may as well go for a top notch downstairs toilet conversation just so you can claim some back.
Do DD’s wardrobes and desk look really good? It’s so exciting getting things done 😁

Can you suggest she pays for it?
  • I'd have to tell her to mind her own business. My ex daughter in law used to be like that. Luckily my son saw sense & divorced her.   Lol

I’ve been awol for a while and been catching up from mid September.
I had to laugh at the man tool box 😂😂😂
What a worry about Dd. Glad she is home again and on the mend.
i had a bakery item from Lidl and hadn’t realised they had to be redeemed within the week. I thought it was the month so I lost it. I supposed it’s better for the waistline though.
Hope the rest of the building work goes without a glitch.
