I think a Costa/Greggs trip may be on the horizon to pacify Mr SA!

Good idea to look at paint 'in person' rather than online. I hope you find just the right thing. Having seen a friend's house with some dramatic dark walls offsetting bright modern art, I am in the mood for paint buying myself - though I still have some second coats to do which I keep putting off.

    Isn’t B&Q a men-only venue then? 😂
No doubt @Sun_Addict will be going in disguise as we all predict...are you riffling through the dressing-up box?

Glad the work is all starting.  I hope you survived heading to B&Q on your own without a man to tell you what you need.

SA, you might want to stock up on Prosecco before the budget. The tax on wine will change from its current one set rate to a sliding scale of probably 6 levels depending on the abv of the wine. Although Prosecco is fairly low on the abv scale.
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
