All my books are packed away so 2 x empty bookcases ready for moving tomorrow. Mr SA wanted to start moving everything into the living room today but I said why when we don’t need to. Might as well have one more night clutter free.DD has been to have her flu jab. Ours are next Saturday. Can’t make my mind up whether or not to have the Covid one I’ve been offered on the same day. Mr SA wants to have his, DD refused hers. I feel so rough the following day, I could do without being laid up next Sunday.
DS and the GKs didn’t visit today so good job I didn’t need DS’s help in the end. I do find no one is willing to help when you need them which is why I try to do everything myself or pay someone to do it. Excluding DD from this as she was the one who moved the carpet and the treadmill with a little help from me.I can’t believe no one has taken anything I’ve left at the side of the skip. Not even seen a scrapman about.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I've also found people unavailable when I need help. It's not very often anymore that I do as I just get things done myself too.
I do sometimes get frustrated by it though.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Morning folks 🙂
The scrapman has been! Loads more room in the skip now. I’ve given Mr SA a job for today to fill the wheelbarrow with junk from the shed so I can wheel it down to the skip.Today’s mission for me is to finish packing up the dining room, move the bookcases to the living room and give DD’s bedroom a good clean ready for the builder. I found some sugar soap in the cupboard under the stairs so going to wipe down the paintwork ready for painting.I’m looking forward to the work starting now as I can picture how much better it’s going to be and I’m quite excited about having the spare room as my little cosy office.Need to take the dog out now then crack on.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Blimey you have been busy!
I think I am going to pay for my flu jab this year. I don't qualify for a free one but have had flu the last two winters and I really do not want it again this winter.
It is really not pleasant 😒
The last covid jab I had made me very poorly so not really looking forward to the flu jab truth be told!2 -

I’ve not stopped again today. Took the dog for a run on the park, she’s very energetic at the moment to say she’s 12.Then took a load of stuff to the charity shop. They’re going to pick up the weights from us on Tuesday (yes finally managed to persuade Mr SA to give up the weights he hasn’t touched for about 16 years!). However they’re not interested in the dining table as it doesn’t come with chairs. After that Mr SA was supposed to be sorting out the shed but in reality this involved him sitting in the shed in a camping chair while I loaded up the wheelbarrow and wheeled it to the skip x 5 trips! Found some more metal for the scrapman which was picked up almost immediately. After lunch gave DD’s room a good clean and sugar soaped the walls and woodwork ready for painting. Then moved the bookcases from the dining room into the living room. They fit quite nicely into the fireplace recess so not taking up much room. Then made a batch of Thai butternut squash soup for work lunches using a PON recipe. It’s very nice, not made it before. Also made a vegan banana loaf. Then finally got a much needed soak in the bath with a face mask, candles, chill out music and leftover Prosecco. Bliss ❤️Tonight’s dinner was a portion of vegan nut roast from freezer stocks with air fried baby potatoes and steamed veg.Have done 22,000 steps today. In money news, today was another NSD and I’ve unexpectedly received a bonus payment of £17.85 from a PA researcher for a survey I did for them. I didn’t bother cashing out survey money last month as it wasn’t a great amount so October is looking good already.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
