Update on DD, she's to stay in another night. She's had a camera down her throat this morning and her oesophagus is a bit red. They have suggested it might be her oesophagusitis flaring up again. She sounds fine in herself apart from moaning about the hospital food. She's hoping they might discharge her tomorrow.
In money news forgot to add it's NSD1 of October today. October will be a very spendy month with all the building works but it's all planned and fully funded by regular savers. Next year's project will be loft hatch, ladder and insulation and a new sofa for the living room I think.
By coincidence next door have also got a skip in their drive and having work done on the house. They've had so much stuff done to their house it's practically been rebuilt!
I should've been going to the park volunteers group AGM tonight but really can't face it so have sent my apologies. All I want to do after Zumba is have a long soak in the bath and an early night.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

I thought the same about the ring pulls! Maybe the ones attached to cans of beer require less physical exertion?
Sorry you didn't win the award, but I am sure we all agree on here that you are definitely OUR winner!
Hope your daughter will soon be out of hospital. At least it wasn't the aneurysm re-asserting itself.
Hope you will soon be a little less crazy-busy & will be able to sit down with a good book & a glass of gin.

Another working week done. Worked in the office for 6 hours then finished. Had a very productive day and ticked a lot off my to do list.Stopped off at Lid! on the way home for a few food bits and a truck thing to transport heavy items which will come in useful for moving furniture about. Gutted that the free bakery item for a £50 spend is no more 🙁
DD is still in hospital but hoping to be discharged tomorrow. She’s had no more bleeding and can’t understand why they’re keeping her in. All tests have come back clear. She’s really fed up now.Today’s exercise was walking to/from work 21,000 steps so far.Tonight’s dinner was breaded sweet Thai chilli basa fillet with steamed veg.Hoping for a chilled weekend pottering about and getting ready for the refurb. Have decided to get rid of the very old treadmill and exercise bike that no one uses and move my desk to the spare room. It will be a lot warmer in there for me and no Mr SA shuffling past when I’m interviewing or taking minutes of meetings. I’ve been asked to interview again soon so will be a lot better for this.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Forgot to say, on the decluttering front, dropped off a bag of DD’s old clothes at a clothes recycling bank on the way to work. I was originally going to take them to the Primani recycling station but this saved me carting them to work first and they do the same thing. I always hope that things like this do get recycled. I’ve seen quite a few clothing items in shops that say they’re made of recycled clothes so hopefully this is where they end up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
