Well spotted on the change to L!dl rewards - I have just picked up a nice loaf for spending £50 there last month. I think it will now be a sweet bakery item after £10 and something to do with fruit after £50, but it doesn't say what fruit.
I hope they let your DD out tomorrow.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

I've spent less than £50 tonight and got a free sweet treat which is annoying. It's doubly annoying as I've found out that the glazed doughnuts, which I used to give to a friend, aren't vegetarian which limits it further.
Positive vibes for DD2 -
I’ve had a very busy day. Did my usual ClubFit class this morning then took the dog on the park for a run. The dog was a little so and so and chased off a greyhound several times. The greyhound seemed to be enjoying it though and at least they both got a good run. After that went to the local shops and stopped off at a neighbour’s carpet shop to ask him to come and quote for DD’s bedroom floor. After lunch mowed the lawns, hopefully the last time this year. Then as the weather was so nice decided to clear a patch around the pond where the path has been covered by debris. It was surprising just how much of the path was covered over but it’s now clear and I’ve moved a bench to it so Mr SA can sit there in the shade. There I was breaking my back clearing the area and cutting back shrubs while Mr SA watched. The minute I moved the bench there he was sitting on it.Making an aubergine and tomato curry for tonight’s dinner. Fizz is in the fridge for later.Last but not least DD is finally out of hospital. She’s tired and grumpy though so giving her a wide berth 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Morning all. Happy Sunday.Lovely and quiet in the house as everyone else is still asleep.Glad I got the gardening bits done yesterday as the weather isn’t as good today. I’ve got plenty to do indoors, I need to give everywhere a good clean and tidy for a start.I’m going to take the soft plastic to the big Mr T when they open later. Also drop off the remainder of DD’s old clothes as will pass a recycling bank on the way. Mr SA can bring the dog so she’ll get a walk out of it.Self care Sunday, currently got a hair mask on and will have a face mask in the bath later. I’m also going to do a nice relaxing stretching/yoga session before I get in the bath, I’ll look for something online.I think I’ll make the smoked basa, cauliflower and leek recipe for tonight’s dinner as I have a bit of cauliflower and leek need using up. There’s leftover Prosecco for the Strictly results tonight 🥂💃
I need to make a meal plan for next week using up stocks. Also make a batch of soup for work lunches.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Hope you've enjoyed a nice self-care Sunday. Just to let you know that I used a tape measure today without assistance or supervision and I'm absolutely fine. I won't try a ring pull on a can of soup though - I know my limitations😉7

Managed to get quite a bit done today.Ended up making fish pie, steamed the cauliflower and leek then mashed it for the topping. Also tried a new recipe for the soup, celery and butterbean, which is delicious to say I don’t like celery 🤣 I quite like it cooked though just not raw.Meal plan done for next week and all ingredients are using things I’ve already got in. Trying two new recipes from The Green Cookbook by Rukmini Iyer that DD bought me for my birthday. This will be my cookbook of the month.DD has 12 hours sleep so was a much nicer person when she eventually emerged. The dog got in the bath after me so is currently shivering on the sofa 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

That's Monday done. Worked in the office until lunchtime then finished up at home. I wasn't feeling the love for going to work today.
The flooring man was supposed to arrive at 2pm but hasn't. Starting to wonder if I've got the day right. As he's a neighbour I can't imagine that he just hasn't bothered to turn up. He didn't take my phone number so can't contact me if he's delayed.
Usual Monday finance check done. It's the final week of the 4 week budget period and on track for an underspend in at least 2 out of 3 budget pots. The food/alcohol/household pot is the one I need to be careful with this week.
Won another lucky dip on the Lotto.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and picked up a free muffin for Mr SA only to find it wasn't free when I checked my receipt as I forgot to activate the coupon 😐 So Mr SA will get another muffin later in the week this time it will be free 😆 They're selling the jars of chickpeas at 2 for 99p so picked up another two jars. I get through a lot of chickpeas so like to have a good stock in.
Picked up the free coffee courtesy of Oct0pus this morning. We're now £842 in credit but I'm sure this will start going down now we're heading towards the colder months.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and I'm going to do another stretching session from the FitOn app before I get in the bath later.
Tonight's dinner is aubergine and tomato curry left over from Saturday.
