Keep up your gallivanting, SA, he gets most of your time and attention so he's just having a sulk. And I expect your friends enjoy it as much as you do!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
Thank you for all your comments. If I could walk away from it all I would, don't think I'm not tempted.
WFH today. Mr M delivery came just after 6am so all packed away. I've spent a lot on groceries this 4 week budget period but a good part of it was on stocking up on offers so in theory the next 4 week budget period should be a lot less.
My FitBit alarm went off at 4.30 this morning. The annoying thing was it was charging up on the dressing table so I had to get out of bed to switch it off.
Today's exercise plan is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Not sure about tonight's dinner yet as I've identified a few things that need using up in the fridge so will source a recipe. It's looking like something involving roast root veg at the minute.
I love Tuesdays WFH as I have plenty of time to catch up on housework between logging off and the resistance bands class. Going to give the kitchen and bathroom a good clean.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Just catching up with your diary.
Sorry to hear Mr SA has been a nuisance in more ways than one. Hopefully he will let you have a quiet spell again now.
Big virtua hugs heading your way.2 -
You definitely need your friends for socialising & getting time off from Mr SA. I don't think I could do what you do, you're an inspiration......especially doing so many steps a day as well.

My Fitbit charges in about half an hour, I usually charge it first thing in the morning now. Might save you getting woken overnight if you time how long it takes, though I'm thinking my old one took a lot longer so it may vary between models.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Morning all, halfway through the week already!
In the office today. It was quite nippy walking into work, I wish I'd worn my gloves, my hands were quite cold.
Yesterday Mr SA's scooter broke down when we got to the park, it just cut out completely and he couldn't get it going again. I had to take the dog back home, go back and push his scooter home then go back for him with his walking frame. What a palaver! Anyway the scooter shop came out less than an hour later and fixed it straightaway. Good job I was WFH yesterday.
Also did the free energy hour yesterday but only put on a wash and charged up the vacuum cleaner.
Roasted some beetroot, carrots, red onion, swede and sweet potato last night to use up stocks and had that with veggie sausage. There's some left over for Thursday's dinner when I have the park volunteers group meeting and need something quick, also a small portion that will do me for Friday's work lunch.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of roast veg from freezer stocks with pasta.
The builder I used for the bedroom and living room refurbs is coming this afternoon to give a quote for DD's room and the dining room. Hopefully I'll be able to afford to have both done. I've said I'll pay for the built in wardrobe/desk, flooring and painting if DD pays for everything else. She only wants vinyl on the floor so will get our neighbour who has a carpet shop to do that. The dining room is flooring the same as the living room and hall, new skirting boards and the ceiling needs skimming, plus painting. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Going to pick up my free coffee from 0ct0pus shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
The scooter breaking down sounds horrible 😢 All those extra steps though!Fingers crossed you are pleasantly surprised with the quote. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
