Your gardening work sounds lovely. Your day (a Sunday!) sounds hugely productive and as ever I am in awe. The phrase 'Just need to steam scrub the floors' has not been uttered once in my life3

That's Monday done. Worked in the office until just after lunchtime then finished up at home.
What a grey murky day it was until this afternoon when the sun came out.
Tested out new trainers and they're still comfy after 16,519 steps so they've ticked that box.
Monday finance check done, nothing to clear from cc as the weekend's spends are still pending. £200 sent to Nationwide RS (final payment before it matures), £150 to YBS Christmas Saver, £250 to Principality RS and current account interest of £4.91 sent to the Christmas pot. Another £100 overpayment to the mortgage has also gone out.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home and picked up another free doughnut for Mr SA. Only have one more freebie to pick up now and I'm done. They have reed diffusers reduced to £1.39 and large scented candles reduced to £1.99 - the nice hotel-type ones not the cheapy smelling ones. Picked up 2 diffusers and 1 candle.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work. Going to do a short yoga/stretching session before I jump in the bath later. It's my intention this month to re-introduce yoga into my exercise plan.
Listened to a very interesting podcast on my walk home called How To Get Motivated Even When You Don't Feel Like It (The Mel Robbins Podcast).
Tonight's dinner is freezer surprise - an unlabelled container which may possibly be aubergine biriyani but then again it might not be 🤣 It's decluttered another thing from the freezer if nothing else.
Talking of decluttering, that's something I want to get back into this month. I made a start yesterday by sorting through my handbags. I now have the cross body ones on one shelf and the bigger bags on another. Made it a lot easier grabbing a bag for work this morning. Only two went in the charity bag but a couple of things decluttered even so.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Hope your freezer surprise was not too much of a surprise
Well done on the decluttering and glad the new trainers are ok."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney2 -
I’m still unsure what the freezer surprise was but it involved aubergine and rice. It was tasty anyway. Note to self (a) label freezer food and (b) keep on ongoing list of new recipes I make.Decluttered my exercise gear drawers and got rid of a top and two pairs of leggings.Found an after work 20 minutes yoga stretch on my Deliciously Ella app so did that before having a nice soak in the bath.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Anything aubergine would be a shock rather than a surprise for me. I’m not a fan 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

That's Tuesday done.
WFH today. What a day it's been work-wise, you can tell everyone is back from leave it's been manic!
Mr M delivery arrived at 6.30am so all put away before I logged on at 7am.
Exercise has been taking the dog on the park this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a new recipe adapted from one on my Good Food calendar - baked orzo and veggie sausage.
Money-wise I've cleared the cc balance as yesterday's pending items have now cleared.
Next task is to clean the kitchen and have a bit of a tidy round downstairs. I love Tuesdays as I have a big gap between logging off from work and doing the resistance bands class at 6.45 so I can get a few jobs done. Hoping to declutter a drawer or cupboard too, chipping away at this task so it doesn't become overwhelming.

That's Wednesday done. The week is flying by!
Worked in the office until just after lunchtime then finished up at home.
Quick mid week finance check and £200 has been sent to the Principality 6 months RS which is the holiday pot. A couple of oddments have been sent to the Christmas pot.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and then Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is salmon and stir fried veg.
DD had a letter yesterday with an appointment for a scan tomorrow. That's short notice! What if she'd been on holiday and not seen the letter, then they would've said she didn't attend her appointment.
Had my free coffee courtesy of 0ct0pus today. Also picked up a free croissant from Lid! on the way home, Mr SA will be pleased with that.
Going to try and do a bit more decluttering shortly. Last night it was a jacket I have never worn and keep putting away with my summer things then trawling it back out again the following year. I have no intention of ever wearing it so it's gone in the charity bag. Also I've been sneaking branches of an old tatty Christmas tree bit by bit in the bin and got rid of the final branch last night. Might make a start on the kitchen cupboards as I'm being a bit haphazard just choosing random bits and need to have a more organised way of decluttering.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Decluttering is very therapeutic. That said I’ve brought 2 big boxes of paperwork down to sort and it’s been on the table 2 days now. I really need to tackle it. I want to get a folder of things the children might need if the worse should happen to either of us. Dh has important papers like the funeral plan squirrel away on a high shelf some where. I can’t reach should I need to and ds would have no chance. It’s on my to do list 😁
Glad Mr S enjoyed his croissant. They are very nice from there.January spends - £587.584 -
Your DD was lucky to see that letter but not as lucky as my DS was when he had a hand delivered letter one evening for an appt the next day. I just happened to go into the porch & found it.
