Morning all, happy Friday.
Day off today plus it's payday, happy days 😁
Payday shuffle done, some oddments sent to the Christmas pot, cc balance cleared, bills money and regular savers money ready and waiting. Not sending anything to the premium bonds again this month, had an expensive month. £50 sent to vet pot, £50 to appliances pot and £20 to glasses pot.
The older cat is limping this morning on her back leg. She tried to jump up on a kitchen worktop yesterday and missed so hoping she hasn't damaged it when she fell. There's always something! She's very agile for her age normally (14).
I didn't manage to get to Lid! yesterday as by the time I'd cleaned the bathroom and put everything back, plus everything back in the cupboard under the sink in the kitchen, planted the 3 plants I bought on Sunday and did the ironing, it was time for Zumba.
Looking forward to meeting my work friends at lunchtime and having a potter around town first.

Have a lovely Friday with your friends 😊
Hope cat recovers soon2 -
Can you manage a look at your cat's toes? One of our past cats had a similar bad landing & was limping terribly. Vet said it was a 'knocked up toe' - he explained that when jumping down from something, cats can stub a toe & it pushes up out of alignment. Our cat had painkillers & it righted itself after a few days.....he was proper sorry for himself though before the drugs kicked in.
Hope it's nothing serious.

Hope the cat's ok and that she is just playing the "wounded soldier". Our dog does this when he knows we have seen him do something stupid like faceplant into the sofa when he has jumped up and missed.
I must admit I did laugh to myself at the thought of you sat on an NHS commode doing your make up.2 -
Hope the cat is ok.

Thank you all. I’ll have a look at her toes @foxgloves, thanks for the tip. I’ve not seen her since I got back home but will check tomorrow.I had a lovely wander around the city centre. Mr SA came as far as Lid! with me so I picked up the few bits I needed then sent him back home with a free doughnut (he has discovered he actually does like them after all).Sat down with a coffee, took my jacket off and realised my new bracelet had gone 🙁 Checked my bag, rang Mr SA to get him to check the shopping bag but no luck. I’ve only had it a week. It was only £10 from the garden centre but I really liked it. So annoying.Really struggled to find the make up items I wanted in B00ts. Ended up getting them from SooperDrug where they were on 3 for 2. Surprised to see they sell Av0n in there, never seen that in shops before.Had a lovely lunch with my friends. Had a veggie Indian tapas which was lovely. The drinks were surprisingly good value for a restaurant with cocktails 2 for £10 and pretty decent quality too. Would definitely go there again.Unfortunately while I was out Mr SA had a fall in the garden. Why is it when I’m out with friends having a nice time he always has a fall 😞 I told him to phone DD to help him as she was home. I’m sure he expected me to just drop everything and go home! He’s fine anyway no damage done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
