It's a bank holiday weekend and you work hard and do a million productive (and emotionally trying) things on top every day, enjoy your well earned workers rights and do not feel like you need to be doing all the time! Hope you have a lovely evening and that a bottle of something nice features4

I'm with PIP: a busy person needs a 'duvet day' once in a while, for physical and mental recuperation. I'm also with you on how helpful it can be to have a list, to get moving. However, a day or so's break from the routine can help things fall into perspective, so the next list might be helped by the day off.
P.S. The fact you had an accidental shower may have been your body telling you to rest.I hope tomorrow falls into place more easily.

Boo the long weekend is almost over 😭 Thankfully only a 3 day working week ahead so not so bad 🥳
I’ve had a better day today. Went to the local park with a plant shop, the dog had a good walk and I bought 3 huge perennials at 25% off. Stopped off at Ald! while we were in the vicinity and bought 2 more perennials. Will plant them tomorrow as they all need soaking overnight.Have more or less filled the garden waste bin with clippings and put it out for collection tomorrow.I managed to get some time in my hanging chair reading with leftover Prosecco 🙂Tonight’s dinner is leftover End of Summer curry from Saturday.Exercise has been just over 20,000 steps, happy with that.Finalised tomorrow’s Mr M order, only a small one this week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Morning all.
Back to work but WFH today.
Mr M delivery has been and all packed away. Had to do a bit of freezer tetris but as I've said before it's amazing how much fits in when it's stacked tidily. Updated the freezer stocks list. One day I will get to defrost the small freezer 😆
Did a pre payday finance check. Paid off cc balance.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is spiced butternut squash stew with herb dumplings.
Plans finalised this morning for Friday's lunch with work friends. I'm really looking forward to having a wander around town first then meeting them for a pre-lunch drink. We are going to an Indian tapas restaurant. I've got a few things I need to pick up from B00ts, bits of make up and stuff, so it will be nice to take my time and not have Mr SA getting in the way.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

That's Wednesday more or less done. Worked in the office until just after lunch just need to do another hour and a bit to make my day up.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, picked up a free demi baguette and a few things needed.
Some sad news in that DS had to have his cat PTS yesterday. Although he'd been doing well he suddenly deteriorated and there was nothing that could be done for him. They are all heartbroken. I told him he did his best and gave the cat a chance, he was just too badly injured, he did the kindest thing. Not that anything I can say will help him feel any better, been there myself several times.
DD is starting to have flare ups of her gall bladder and has been in pain. She says it's not that bad at the minute and only lasts for a short time. It's a shame they cancelled her op a few weeks ago it could've been over and done with by now.
Mr SA threw his toys out of the pram yesterday when I said he couldn't have yet another bag he's been stalking at the local charity shop. It's a holdall he wants for swimming. Reminded him (a) he doesn't go swimming and (b) he has a similar holdall abandoned in his wardrobe. Honestly the tantrum he threw, sometimes he behaves like a 5 year old. The abandoned holdall was retrieved and this seemed to pacify him. Whether he actually uses it to go swimming is another matter...
Anyway...
Picked up my free coffee from Ner0 courtesy of 0ct0pus this morning.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and strength training at 6pm (Zumba lady still away).
Tonight's dinner is air fried tuna steak with Mexican rice and steamed veg.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Oh no, I hope swimming isn’t the new cycling? Deep breath’s…just tomorrow to go and then you have your lovely shopping and lunch day as a reward for getting through the tantrum 😁
The first MrWW was a big tantrum thrower and he didn’t have MrSA’s health issues, so you have my sympathy. Only grey rock and finally divorce could fix it.

Sorry about the cat. It's heartbreaking losing a pet.
Oh dear about Mr SA. Does he actually think he's going to go swimming? Hopefully him being reunited with the other one keeps that pester at bay. Really must be so hard sometimes to manage the tantrums.
I sympathise with the gallbladder flare ups. Hope she gets her op soon.

Sorry to hear about DS's cat, Know how he must feel.
Maybe you should book some swimming for Mr SA and see if he actually wants to go. Might stop him worrying about a bag so much then
