Finally found some suitable trainers online 🥳 They need to have good soles that will grip in wet weather for walking to work and these appear to fit the bill. Plus they’re grey and neon pink. The make is Under Armour, not tried this brand before so fingers crossed they’re good. Got 25% off too with a discount code. Also got free delivery as doing click and collect from the local small Mr T.

Excellent cat news! The plumbing quote doesn’t seem too bad for the amount of work needed.
Happy Saturday, I hope the fizz is chilling!
Fizz was last night as it was my birthday but had a fair bit left as I fell asleep 😆 The plumber is a good one and I trust him not to overcharge.

Trainers sound good, I might investigate. I like a good grippy sole, after having my fall last year. It has left me a bit wary & I do like to walk a lot. I like something comfy as well. Normally wear Sk*ch*rs, but the last pair don't seem to have such good soles.

I normally buy Skechers but the soles seem to wear out pretty quickly just lately. I do a LOT of walking so they need to be right.

Yes, my last pair have gone far too smooth & only had them a few months.

    Happy Sunday.

The weather started off lovely and sunny this morning and has gone downhill this afternoon, it’s really gloomy and windy. Managed to get some weeding done but still haven’t planted the clematis and blueberry bush I bought on Thursday.

Took the dog on the park after breakfast and picked 2 bags of litter. I haven’t been over there since last Wednesday so was expecting there to be a fair bit.

I just can’t get myself motivated this bank holiday. I wanted to be able to tick a few jobs off the list by the end of it but can’t seem to settle to do anything meaningful. Maybe my mojo will return tomorrow. I should’ve made a proper list I suppose.

Making a stir fry for tonight’s dinner to use up some veg in the fridge.
