Ah that's really sad about DS's cat. At least the poor wee thing was able to go being put to sleep knowing they were loved, which is a peaceful and dignified way to go and I wish it was available to us humans
(Not that I'm starting an ethical debate on your diary SA, though people are welcome to do it on mine as it's all stressy anyway 😁)
Hope the appt for DD comes through soon, what an annoying palaver. Make sure to boot her backside to A&E if it gets any worse, with her medical history they should take it seriously
I don't even know what to say about Mr SA but I am very much feeling the suggestion from @Makingabobor2 that you should take him to the swimming pool if he's a such a swimmer now 🤨
You never know, he might actually get something from it!
Glad the trainers and bras are seeming suitable

Morning all, happy Friday Eve, nice sunny start to the day 😎
WFH today and my last working day of the week. Could get used to these short weeks. Next week will be a killer.
The plumber is coming today. Transferred the house pot to the current account in readiness to pay him. I now have an empty house pot 🙁 However it will be topped up again as the regular savers start to mature in the next few weeks. Must quickly clear under the kitchen sink and move the toiletries from the bathroom before he gets here.
Re Mr SA and swimming. He used to be a good swimmer pre-illness now he really struggles, must be the part of his brain that's damaged. He's been a few times, I don't take him as I can't swim, I'm absolutely terrified of deep water since someone threw me in a river aged 15 and I almost drowned. I can't even walk close to it. It would do him good strength wise if he kept it up but he has fads, he'll go a couple of times then come winter he'll say it's too cold and that'll be it.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, Yogilates at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veg lasagne from the freezer with salad.

Sorry to hear about DS's cat.
Mr SA and his latest fad has made me chuckle. What do you think has set him off on this latest one?2 -
So sad about the cat but definitely the right call.
Loving the new trainers. Hope they’re comfortable 👍
Well done on the litter picking 👏👏👏January spends - £587.582 -

The plumber has been here since 9am, still not finished but not far off. Mr SA had to take the dog out on his own and I missed my Yogilates at lunchtime. I cut the grass at lunchtime to get away from my laptop for a bit. I'm going to log off at 3 and I think I might walk down to Lid! to save me going on the way home from the meal out tomorrow.
Mr SA has come up with another gem. He broke my dressing table stool, he sits at my dressing table when he's doing what he calls "manscaping" eg cutting what little hair he has left and shaving. He sits on things so heavily, he throws himself of things rather than sit down. The leg has come off, he tried to repair it but he's really messed it up. When I moaned about it he "kindly" said I could use his commode instead! Although he's not used it since it was delivered when he was in hospital, I still have no plans for this to become a suitable replacement 😐 I will use a little stool instead, although not very comfortable at least it has strong metal legs so surely he won't break this one. I can always put a little cushion on it and it does match my dressing table.

Mr SA can sit on the commode - it's probably unbreakable!!What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?1

Oh the glamour 😂 I bet that's how Lauren Bacall had her make-up done every day, wedged in an NHS commode4
