Forgot to say the plumbing work will be £655 which is a bit more than I anticipated but it is a lot of work. New good quality taps in the kitchen and bathroom, remove and reinstall vanity unit and bath, make the floor safe under the bath and reseal the bath and sink with top quality sealant.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Thankyou, meant to say sorry to hear about the cat x2

Sorry about the vat.
The plumbing is hopefully reasonable, even though it's more expensive xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Happy Saturday 🥂
What a miserable wet day it is here. Glad we went out yesterday.Going to brave the weather to take the dog on the park later then go to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling. Also have 2 bags of coffee pods to recycle at a local shop.Fell asleep on the sofa last night around 9-ish and woke up at 3am!! I was exhausted. Went to bed and didn’t wake up until 7.30. My legs are still aching a bit.No visit from DS and the GKs as they have to take their cat to the vets.I’ll get the cleaning done today as I doubt I’ll get any outdoor jobs done unless the weather changes.Today’s exercise will be walking. Trying a new recipe for tonight’s dinner from this month’s Good Food magazine - Chetna Makan’s end of summer veg curry. There was a free spice blend sachet with the magazine to make it with.Plumber has messaged to say he’s coming to do the work on Thursday. The kitchen tap is desperate now as it’s running rather than dripping.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Thankfully it’s stopped raining and the sun is trying to come out. Some really good news in that DS’s cat has unexpectedly improved overnight and the vet advised that he’s monitored over the next couple of weeks.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Excellent cat news! The plumbing quote doesn’t seem too bad for the amount of work needed.
