    Fingers crossed he does quote.
I wonder who if did belong to. I don't often have cash but have found the odd bit in my purse that I had forgotten how it got there.

I keep forgetting it's bank holiday Monday. They don't often give me a day off so I forget when they are.

  • £5 is a good price for a clear conscience! And one of those old ladies might go back in shamefaced because they need it and you will have done A Good Deed. Great to have found some wishlist books for 50p each so call it evens 😁

I wasn’t 100% sure it wasn’t mine but my gut instinct was it wasn’t. I remember on Saturday I saw the dress I eventually bought from the CS, I didn’t have enough cash in my purse, maybe £2 at the very most, so withdrew £10 from a cash point. They gave me £6 change, I went into another CS and spent £3 on books, I’m sure I gave them a fiver and got £2 change. I remember thinking I’d more or less blown £10 in one fell swoop 😆 Which is why I don’t think that £5 was mine.

  • Eek to the rotting floor boards, hope the quote from the plumber is reasonable and it gets sorted quickly.
