The free donut…try having half each gently warmed in the microwave with ice cream. They make a nice pudding and it’s a bit fancier than just as they are. We have it sometimes for a change 😁
I don’t like doughnuts at all so Mr SA can have it all to himself. I don’t buy ice cream or puddings I’m more of a savoury gal 😆

    🤣🤣 you two.

Watching a programme on TV about supermarkets and one woman said she’s had 2 kids in 2 years which made Mr SA gasp. Reminded him we also had 2 kids in 2 years - his response was did we 😐

Clearly he's forgotten that part. Oh dear!

    Hope you're OK though. X

Oops! Maths may not be his strong point, any more than it is mine.

And my bike's been in the shed for the last few years, but DH has two and rides them as often as he can - a few times a week in summer, so that sort of counterbalances me, doesn't it?

    Morning all, happy Friday.

Last full working week until September done. In the office today but finishing at lunchtime as I have the plumber coming this afternoon.

Mr SA had left a mess in the bathroom so had to clear that up first thing. Also did a load of washing and pegged it out with the weather being so nice.

Just treated myself to a coffee from work's on site C0sta, my Friday treat.

It's really quiet in the office again but a lot of people are on leave. Our leave year ends this month and those with more than 10 days have to use it or lose it. We can only carry forward 10 days, personally I only have 2 days to carry forward as I prefer to use mine up over the course of the year.

Today's exercise is walking to/from work. Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted Thai sweet chilli fish with swede chips and steamed veg.

  • Ooh never tried swede chips, sounds nice

On the bike discussion....My DH had a bike when we first got married 27 yrs ago....he's not my 1st husband, that's why we've not been married long... lol.  Anyway, it is in the garage & he's never used it, at all in 27 years!  Won't get rid of it though, as its a " good bike"!

I used to cycle to work every day until the athritis in my knees made it a no no. I lent my bike to a friend and found she had left it in her garden to go rusty and unusable. It was a shame as I had bought it new not too long before. Mr LH has never been in favour of two wheels in any form and I dont even know if he can ride a bike.
