Morning all
Thank you for your lovely comments.
@PennysIntoPounds no overnight stay as it's only 1 hour 30 minutes on the train so do-able in a day. My organisation's budget doesn't stretch to nice hotels I'm afraid 😆 I'm not going to the original awards ceremony as it's up in the north east and a faff to get to apparently so my line manager is going on my behalf.
WFH today so have had a nice leisurely start to the day with my book and coffee.
Dental hygienist appointment later this morning - ugh I hate going to the dentist so will be glad when that's done.
Today's exercise will be walking to/from the dentists, stretch & tone at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a leftover portion of Spanish style chickpea stew that I made on Tuesday.
It should also be a NSD.

Well the NSD didn't last long! Mr SA was scrolling on his phone again and decided he simply must have some RAF target roundel stickers for his scooter and had found just the thing on eBay. They were only £2.49 so said I'd order him some. I was puzzled what on earth made him think of these stickers and he said he used to have some on his scooter before. As I'd never seen them, further questioning revealed it was when he had a Vespa as a teenager.
Then when I went to make his packing up for tomorrow realised we didn't have any cheese and the bread rolls smelled odd so brought forward tomorrow's trip to Lid!. I had to give up my stretch & tone class but as Lid! is a fair distance away and uphill on the way back I thought that more than made up for it. It will save me some time tomorrow as I need to be back from work in time for the plumber coming to look at the dripping taps. I picked up this week's offers that are useful to me plus the free seeded sourdough loaf. I now have a free baguette to pick up from the spinning wheel thing. I still have the free doughnut voucher to use, neither of us like them but Mr SA is willing to give them another go 😆
It was the 0ct0pus free electricity hour 1-2 but I don't think I've used much extra although DD was microwaving a baked potato to death so that might count. We're £551 in credit at the moment, the most we've ever been in. I am tempted to fix for 12 months though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
I had the free energy as well but don't think I used up any more than normal. For the next one, I'll plan my washing and dryer around it to maximise it.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Mr SA on a bike 😳BUT he isn’t alone in wanting bikes and not using them 😚😚😚😚😚🤪I ‘needed’ a fold up bike several years ago….the most expensive 4 miles I’ve ever ridden 🫣 I believed the saying ‘ you never forget how to ride a bike….’ Believe me you do 😳 My Dh needed a fold up bike at the same time and although he’s used his more than mine it hasn’t been used to its full advantage. Then he needed an electric one….he's had it nearly 2 years and he’s been out on it a handful of times.January spends - £587.581

The free donut…try having half each gently warmed in the microwave with ice cream. They make a nice pudding and it’s a bit fancier than just as they are. We have it sometimes for a change 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
