Happy Saturday everyone 🥂At the hairdressers this morning then went to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling and a small amount of shopping. Was going to take the dog on the park but Mr SA took her while I was out. Was also going to litter pick on the park but Community Payback people were doing it. How dare they pinch my job the cheek of it 😆Mr SA went for his afternoon nap after lunch and I decided to have a potter around the local charity shops. Glad I did as I got what looks like a brand new MnS dress for £4. Fits perfectly. Several people in the shop commented on how pretty it is.After that gave the living room, hall and stairs a good clean followed by some weeding in the garden. A mystery plant has turned out to be another courgette plant and a plant I thought was a butternut squash has turned out to be a sunflower. Follow me for gardening advice 🤣🤣 The plants were labelled when they were seeds, I don’t know what happened 😆
Pizza and Prosecco night tonight 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Hope you're enjoying the pizza and prosecco, alliteration evenings are the best, don't know why but true fact
Great find on the dress, such a (rare) joy when something fits just right
Maybe you can get the community payback people to come and identify your plants while you do their litter picking 😁1 -

Boo another weekend almost over 🙁 Thankfully just a 4 day working week ahead for me.
Have been quite productive today. Took the dog on the park this morning and combined it with a litter pick. Not too bad as the Community Payback people were there yesterday but they had missed a few bits. Then went to S@vers to stock up on a few items like loo rolls. Nipped into the small Mr T to check for bargains and bagged a jar of harissa paste and a jar of tahini paste for just over £1 each in the reduced section so well worth going in.Gave the kitchen and bathroom a good clean.During the 🐙 free electricity hour made a batch of roast tomato and basil soup, banana bread and started off my dinner which was sweet potato and chickpea stew. Also did two loads of washing on the 28 mins 30 degrees quick wash.Managed to get an hour in my hanging chair finishing my book in the sunshine after watering and feeding the plants. All furries have had their flea treatments. The dog and older cat aren’t phased by this in the least but the young cat has been a drama queen about it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
At least you correctly identified the plants before you put the sunflowers in a curry 😁3

That's Monday done.
Worked in the office until lunchtime then finished up at home. Not back in the office again until Thursday.
It's been a bit nippy today after how nice it was yesterday.
New 4 week budget period starts today. There was an underspend of £110.06 in the last period. £10 has been sent to the stock up pot, £50 to personal spends, £50 to the house pot and £0.06 to the Christmas pot.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, picked up a free baguette, now have a backlog of a free muffin, free brownie and free pack of snacks to pick up 😆 Bought another couple of the bottles of wine on offer at £3 as it's not bad at all for the price and stocked up on coconut and vegetable oil while the 20% off is still on. Also got 2 packs of Mediterranean roasting veg reduced to 60p each.
Need to finalise the Mr M order for tomorrow.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work.
Tonight's dinner is Mediterranean Cod bake, will use one of the 60p veg packs picked up earlier.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Morning all.
WFH today, been really busy since I logged on at 7am.
Mr M delivery arrived at 6.30 so that's all been packed away.
Today's exercise is dog walking (already done), bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is leftover sweet potato and chickpea stew from Sunday.
Not a lot else happening which isn't necessarily a bad thing 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I've got the free snacks to collect next time I'm in Lil's as well - and my free bakery item from last week which is a free pretzel which I shall definitely be claiming!
Another one here faintly terrified by the concept of MrSA on a pushbike - although perhaps one with stabilisers might work...?!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

£3 for a bottle of wine is not to be sniffed at (other than in a sommelier sort of way)
