OMG SA, been off “the boards” for a bit and what a crazy couple of weeks you have had whilst I’ve been gone. Are you still thinking of going on holiday or going to see how things go in the next few weeks. You could definitely do with a holiday. You do sound a bit like me, in our house if the DH isn’t ill then it’s the dog. I’ve no time to be ill with looking after everyone else and I think you are the same, you just keep plodding on. Hope you have a restful weekend and here’s to a more relaxing June.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Late posting today been very busy. Did my usual ClubFit class this morning, then took the dog on the park followed by a trip to the local shops. Got some yellow sticker bargains from the little Mr T, 2 bags of new potatoes 56p each, punnet of strawberries for £1.26, bag of salad leaves for 31p and 2 bulbs of garlic for 44p. Great haul 🙂
Met DS and the GKs on the big local park with the garden centre. DGD was being a right little madam 😞 She’s not 10 until next month and is already throwing teenage style strops. It was really cold today but warmer tonight. Supposed to be quite warm tomorrow 🤞
I’d been looking into buying a water butt from eBay and the seller sent me a discount so bought it. Got to be better than collecting rainwater in a storage box. Yesterday bought 30 glass herb jars from Am@zon and they arrived today. Really pleased with them as they have some ready printed labels and some plain ones to write on yourself.Cashed out £50.53 from PA, £3.50 from Am@zon Shopper Panel plus £21.00 from Quidc0. All gone to the Fritter Fund aka me pot. £4.71 current account interest had gone to the Christmas pot and another £100 overpaid on the mortgage.DD has a hospital appointment on Tuesday for the scan results 🤞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Forgot to say made Gunpowder cauliflower curry for my dinner tonight, an old favourite and absolutely delicious every time. Made my own gunpowder spice mix so that will be the first spice mix going into my new jars. Also garnished it with home grown coriander.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

What's your gunpowder spice mix list please SA?
Cauliflower is so versatile, but those pouches of cauli-rice? YUK: sludgy yuk.
Hope DD's appointment goes well. Is she feeling stronger? What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2 -
Well done on making your own curry mix. Hope it was tasty. When I used to grow coriander it always bolted...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
