How very annoying to be interrupted like that, especially when you were at work. Perhaps he could 'earn' his next pester by leaving you alone when you're working. £1 a day if you don't hear from him.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

My DH used to do that when I was a home worker. He could see I was on the phone if I had my head set on and he'd come in to ask what we were having for dinner, or something just as trivial. Its obviously just a man thing.Making the debt go down and savings go up

You need one of those signs my SIL has on his home office door saying he is in a meeting and is not to be disturbed by the children. Mr SA probably wouldn’t take any notice. Yes I thought this. So if he’s thinking of taking one with him or buying one there it’s not happening. Pre illness I had the embarrassment of him having a Swiss Army knife confiscated at a French airport. It was in his hand luggage 🤦♀️ The thing was no one noticed on the way out! He took it for the corkscrew apparently.beanielou said:

Finally bought a hairdryer with the gift voucher. Spent what was left on some after sun and sun cream for me as I haven’t got enough left from the last holiday. That’s arriving on Friday as qualified for free delivery.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Mr Refo and I had the embarrassment of a tiny pair of nail scissors from a Swiss army wallet card thing being confiscated from his hand luggage at Ayers Rock airport. The daft thing was we had at that point done Heathrow, Sydney, and cairns airport security before anyone spotted our attempt at world domination with miniature nail scissors. My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error.
