No definitely not. He never throws anything away. It will be in a bag or box I tidied away somewhere.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Another one here who is intrigued where the sun cream will reappear.

Back of a wardrobe for the suncream? I stash toiletries I'm not going to use any time soon in my wardrobe as the bathroom cupboard isn't big enough for everything!

I have every sympathy with Mr SA & the biting things.  Last summer I stood by an open window, fully dressed obviously, just for a couple of minutes & got bitten on my stomach just above my trouser waistband.  Normally I have to at least walk out to the garage.  Who puts repellant on when they are in their own dining room!!
At least you found your sun cream before you got back from your holiday.

I’ve found the sun cream 👏🥳 It was in an old Soap & Glory tin on the top shelf of the fitted wardrobes.  It’s also got the mosquito bite paraphernalia for Mr SA as he will be bitten by them several times. In fact they’re probably gathering at the airport in preparation for his arrival as I speak.
That's a very useful post - we are off to Lanzarote in 3 weeks time and it hadn't occurred to me to pack insect repellent (the last time we needed it was in Scotland!) - something to add to my packing list.  Maybe we shouldn't be going 'hand luggage only'!
