Happy Sunday.Another very windy day and not as warm as yesterday. No trekking all over today, will be content with just 10,000 steps today. Took the dog on the park this morning and the rest of the day is all about cleaning up and general pottering. The soft plastic recycling will have to wait until next weekend.Just roasted some tomatoes, red onion and red pepper which will go into a batch of harissa, butterbean and roast tomato soup for work lunches.Tonight’s dinner is the butternut squash and kale curry I didn’t make yesterday.NSD 2 of April today. Recovering from yesterday’s big spend day 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

It ended up at 11k 😆 Some if that may well be me pacing up and down in the garden angrily when Mr SA locked the door and went to have a shower leaving me stranded outside 😡 I kept banging on the door but he didn’t hear me. He had also locked the side gate so I couldn’t even go round to the front door and knock! On the plus side it spurred me on to replant the sugar snaps and mangetout that desperately needed it. He finally appeared back downstairs and tried to deny locking the door saying I must’ve locked myself out. There is no way I could’ve done this it only locks with a key! I asked him if he’d noticed I wasn’t in the house but he said he hadn’t thought about it - story of his life he didn’t think 😠Thankfully at the time the weather was just very windy rather than the wind and rain we have tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

You need to take the key out with you in future. I used to do that with the first MrWW as he was often very drunk and always vindictive. I never went into the conservatory to lock the outside door without being sure I couldn’t be locked inside the conservatory from the house side. It’s worth keeping your safety in mind. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn but Mr SA has recent suspicious form with keys and if he didn't take kindly to you being firm about his bag pester.. as @WinterWarrior says, get a copy of the key and keep it with you. Even if it was accidental, what if something had happened to you or him or DD or a neighbour and you were trapped outside6

I would get another key cut but always take the key from the door with you as if its left in the lock you wont be able to use the spare or get a side gate key cut and carry that and the front door key with you.
