We are terrible with holiday packing. We always end up doing it the night before we go away!1
-
We usually pack a couple of days ahead, but everything is got out and placed on the spare room bed ahead of that so we are ready just to fold and pack. I can't be doing with it being last minute these days, but equally I don't want the bag cluttering the place up too far ahead of time. Also a lot of what we take with us are just regular clothes rather than holiday specific items, so it's not practical to have them packed away too far ahead!
Maybe MrSA will quit the pesters now he has his shoes and his bag? On the other hand, two weeks to go - that's plenty of time for a few more isn't it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Two weeks! I'm getting excited for you!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Mr SA's Motability scooter lease ends in 2 weeks and the scooter shop wouldn't accept his last PIP letter as confirmation and wanted a more up to date version which he doesn't have. He called the helpline and was in a queue for 55 minutes before someone finally answered. I ended up speaking to them as he got all confused about what to say. Anyway a new letter is being posted out.
DD came home from work early as she feels very unwell, she looks extremely pale but then she rarely goes outside so it's not surprising. She had managed to get a GP appointment for tomorrow. She was off sick a couple of weeks ago and still hasn't fully recovered.
Managed to get out with the dog earlier this morning in between showers. The wind has really got up again and blew some rubbish from our recycling bin which I had to chase down the drive to retrieve!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Interesting what you said about the fulfilment store not being your local one. I have tried via Tescos & got really fed up with what their fulfilment store doesn't stock. Then I found out it is over 20 miles away & my local large one is under 3. I will only briefly mention a bottle of milk that only had 4 days on it that was supposed to have 7+. Luckily I only needed deliveries for about 4 weeks. I wouldn't mind paying for deliveries if it saved me the aggro of actually going into a store but the deliveries were even more aggro. I had to ring up after every order to complain about something & I hate having to do that.

Truth be told, I was probably remembering you mentioning Mr SA's packing sabotage from you mentioning it before. It's good his scooter is due to be sorted out in time.
I hope your DD feel better soon.

That's Wednesday almost done, the worst of the working week behind me once again. Worked in the office until just after lunchtime and finishing up at home.
Walked to work in lovely sunshine and walked home in the rain. I don't mind so much getting wet on the way home as I can get changed but hate sitting in wet clothes if it's on the way in.
Not a NSD as nipped into Lid! on the way home and spent the princely sum of £2.13. I've spent enough to claim the free bakery item but will pick that up on Friday.
DD has been to the doctors and has been signed off for 2 weeks. She also has to go back for blood tests so that's both her and Mr SA now.
Today's exercise was walking to/from work and Zumba at 6pm. I absolutely love my Zumba nights 🥰
Tonight's dinner is the final portion of vegan sausage hot pot from freezer stocks with lots of steamed veg. I used up an out of date porridge sachet with leftover plant based milk for breakfast. Found some very old plain porridge sachets at the back of the cupboard which were originally DD's. She was going to throw them away 😲 Anyway they taste fine. Lunch was a portion of home made harissa, butter bean & roast tomato soup and a packet of Lid! fake french fries. Snacks were a Bliss bar with my mid morning coffee and a few grapes.

Yes - not a lot to go off in a pack of instant porridge is there!
I had the weather the other way round yesterday - got distinctly damp on the way to the office, damp again when I walked to the car to shift it to nearer work at lunchtime and then it was bone dry on the way home when I was in the car!
