We are terrible with holiday packing. We always end up doing it the night before we go away!

We usually pack a couple of days ahead, but everything is got out and placed on the spare room bed ahead of that so we are ready just to fold and pack.  I can't be doing with it being last minute these days, but equally I don't want the bag cluttering the place up too far ahead of time. Also a lot of what we take with us are just regular clothes rather than holiday specific items, so it's not practical to have them packed away too far ahead!

Maybe MrSA will quit the pesters now he has his shoes and his bag? On the other hand, two weeks to go - that's plenty of time for a few more isn't it!

Interesting what you said about the fulfilment store not being your local one.  I have tried via Tescos & got really fed up with what their fulfilment store doesn't stock.  Then I found out it is over 20 miles away & my local large one is under 3.  I will only briefly mention a bottle of milk that only had 4 days on it that was supposed to have 7+.  Luckily I only needed deliveries for about 4 weeks.  I wouldn't mind paying for deliveries if it saved me the aggro of actually going into a store but the deliveries were even more aggro.  I had to ring up after every order to complain about something & I hate having to do that.

Last year halfway through the flight I suddenly became convinced that she might be in the case and wouldn't settle until we unpacked the other end.
The stuff of nightmares, I would have felt exactly the same.

Truth be told, I was probably remembering you mentioning Mr SA's packing sabotage from you mentioning it before. It's good his scooter is due to be sorted out in time.

I hope your DD feel better soon.

Yes - not a lot to go off in a pack of instant porridge is there!

I had the weather the other way round yesterday - got distinctly damp on the way to the office, damp again when I walked to the car to shift it to nearer work at lunchtime and then it was bone dry on the way home when I was in the car! Typical!
