Thank you all but I really don’t think he intentionally locked me out it was him not thinking. The keys were still in the lock so I couldn’t have got back in even if I had a key. However next time I’ll remember to take my phone with me and also let him know I’m outside and not to lock the door.Sitting at a desk by the window in the office and highly amused by some pigeons having a whale of a time bathing in a puddle on top of a nearby building’s roof 🤣 They’re gathered round the sides like it’s a swimming pool and taking it in turns to jump in 🤣

I love watching things like that. It makes me smile the simplicity of animals and what they do. If we could decide an animal to become, I'd definitely decide on a bird!

That's Monday done.
Mr SA has bought himself a bag from the charity shop, he's spent £4 of the £10 I gave him a few weeks ago so not complaining. It will be ideal for him to use on the plane to be honest and at least I won't end up carrying half his stuff. He was determined he was getting one!
Mr SA has been to the doctors this morning for a blood pressure check. It's still quite high so they're reviewing his meds. He's also got to go back for a blood test later this week.
Exercise has been walking to/from work and the WW app live hooping class at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is scampi, butternut squash wedges and lots of steamed veg.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home to pick up the bamboo bath rack I'd seen in their leaflet. I've been looking for a new bath rack for a while since the old one collapsed.
End of week 1 finances have been done. There was a slight overspend on the grocery front but this should now even out across the remaining 3 weeks, in fact we'll be on holiday in week 4 so should easily come under budget again.
Have been awarded 3 days free Super Duolingo yet again on days where I won't have time to take advantage of it!

Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today thank goodness as it's raining for a change!
Mr M delivery has been and all packed away with nothing missing or subbed. The driver was complaining about the traffic on the motorway so I asked him where he came from and it's Tamworth. That must be where the fulfilment centre is. Seems daft when we have a huge Mr M store just 3 miles away although it's better stock wise as the app won't let you order anything out of stock. There are rarely subs/missing items so it's better in that respect. I always choose a green slot when they're already in the area.
Spurred on by the WW boot camp challenge I had a glass of water first thing this morning before my coffee and did an 8 minutes morning meditation from the FitOn app.
Exercise today is dog walking later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight. I'm also planning to fit in a short yoga stretch at some point.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of butternut squash, lentil and kale curry left over from Sunday. Lunch is tuna salad in a wholemeal pitta and breakfast was a crumpet. Snacks are grapes, apple and a skinny choc bar to go with my mid morning coffee.
I really must make a start on chipping away at the holiday clothes sorting as we will be at the airport 2 weeks today. So far I've got out the cases. I thought if I spend 15 minutes a day it will be less stressful than doing it all in one go. I have to pack Mr SA's case as well as mine as goodness knows what he'd pack if I left him to his own devices. Everything needs to be packed and ready to go by next weekend as for the first time ever I'm working the day before we go away - just to take minutes of a meeting and get them written up and sent out, once they're done I'm off!
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Perhaps it would be an idea to lock away the cases once packed, so Mr SA doesn't edit them?
