There used to be a diffuser attachment in the posh gym I frequented before I converted to MSE It was excellentIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Morning all, happy Saturday.Pleased to report I’ve lost another 1lb this week so only 1lb to go to holiday target. 3lbs in 4 weeks happy with that. It’s the WW boot camp challenge on the app that motivated me, it made me start tracking again.I’ve got a live ClubFit class at 8.45 then I need to go to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling. No idea whether or not DS and the GKs are coming today. I wish DS would make his mind up the day before not when they’re about to set off.Mr SA is constantly pestering about buying these blooming canvas shoes and I won’t get any peace until he’s got them. We would be better going to the small market town not too far away rather than the city centre as they have a proper shoe shop with loads of choice and very reasonably priced. When we’re going to fit this in though is another thing and weather dependent as it’s a good hour’s walk each way.At some stage this weekend I need to transfer the sugar snap peas and mangetout from the mini greenhouse to big tubs and they’re huge and putting out tendrils to climb.Tonight is curry night, making a butternut squash, lentil and kale curry.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

My Remington hairdryer with diffuser is still £21.99 on am*zon. It is working well…I wouldn’t pay more either. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

DS called to say they weren’t coming today so we decided to go to the market town. We set off at 10 and have only just got back. Mr SA got two pairs of casual shoes so he’s happy although he mentioned another bag on the way home. Got home and found exactly the bag he said he needed in his wardrobe 😐
We stopped off for a pub lunch on the way home as it was getting past lunchtime and I needed to rest my feet for a bit. There wasn’t much on the menu for me at all and I ended up with a plant based meatball marinara ciabatta which was actually nicer than I thought it would be. Mr SA ordered cheeseburger but was disappointed to find it didn’t come with fries so had to go back and order some.Curry night has been deferred until tomorrow. Mr SA wants pizza and I’m still too full from lunch at the moment to even think about more food.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

Enjoy your evening SA, good work shopping from home for Mr SA. Could he get involved in surveys to save up for his pesters?1

Despite the found bag being suitable he’s now decided he needs a new one 😬 He’s shown me a picture of one that is totally unsuitable and I’ve had to be firm and say no. He has it in his head he needs to have everything new for holidays but he already has plenty of hardly worn stuff. Bangs head against brick wall 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
