I don’t feel too bad tonight actually. I managed to go for it at Zumba so can’t be that bad 😆 Hopefully it won’t get any worse 🤞

Fingers crossed the lurgy stays away.
There are so many bugs and viruses still doing the rounds this year!!2 -
Morning all, happy Friday.
In the office today but as always on a Friday finishing early. Got soaked on the walk in, my feet are still wet!
I feel better today just a bit snuffly so hopefully that's as bad as it gets.
What a palaver trying to get the free Gr£ggs coffee this morning! Downloaded the code this morning before I left home, it had disappeared by the time I got into the city centre and I had to log in and download it again. Then the Gr£ggs I usually go in was closed! Decided to try the branch across the road from where I work and it was heaving - the queue was out of the door! Fortunately I had the foresight to bring a coffee from home just in case (although I do keep coffee bags at work). As the code runs out this weekend I will try again later this morning as the branch is only across the road from the office.
Money wise an oddment of £2 has been sent to the holiday pot and DD has paid her board so that's gone straight into the holiday pot. Not a NSD as I need to nip to Lid! on the way home.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work.
Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted yellowfin sole, rosemary & garlic swede chips and steamed veg.
Right better get on with some work...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Well I was fated with this free coffee. Went to fetch it earlier, the queue was out of the door with just one person serving although she did amazingly well. Ordered a regular black americano, used the free code and walked away coffee in hand. Got back to my desk, thought it looked not quite black, tasted it 🤢 There must've been a tiny bit of milk in the pipes that somehow got into my drink. Well that went straight down the sink as I couldn't drink it. I would've been cross if I'd paid for it.
Redeemed the £50 worth of vouchers I received from work a couple of weeks ago for a £50 B00ts voucher. I could do with a new hairdryer so will have a look for a good deal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Ooh let me know if you see a good hairdryer deal, I need to get one but resent the thought of spending money on it2

I've had a Remington har dryer for over 10 years, still doing a great job. I've also had one of their straighteners for about 7 years and it's still going strong. They're not very expensive either. Like some ridiculous brands out there...

My old hairdryer is still working but very tatty. I only use it the 3 days a week I’m in the office as I let it dry naturally normally. However I would like one with a diffuser so I can finally give in and admit my hair is wavy. My hairdresser suggested trying to enhance the waves rather than fighting with them 😆
Some of the prices are shocking!
I’ve got £50 and refuse to spend a penny more 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
I think I was pregnant when I bought my last one. Said child is now 21. I tend to just take the worst of the wet off though. I do recommend a diffuser - when I do mine properly then it's always for the curls. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
