    That's one of the reasons I like withdrawing cash from the Post Office counter (when they are open, of course) because I can specify how I'd like it paid. Agree £5 notes can be useful.

    2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
    Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

    Should you have any coriander left you can freeze it either whole or chopped, then use it straight from the freezer into whatever you're making. It works better for something cooked rather than using it raw after freezing but saves wasting it

    I get the mysteriously germinating tomatoes, too. I just wish they would time themselves early enough to get a harvest from them!
