We’re in the airport lounge boarding in about 30 minutes. It’s fair to say Mr SA has had his moneys worth in the lounge. 2 bacon rolls, 2 croissants. 3 coffees, 2 sparkling wine and a bottle of water 😆 The airport is really busy I’m so glad I booked us into the lounge.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
Lol, thst sounds like Mr F at a hotel "all you can eat breakfast". Have a good journey.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.

Surprisingly it didn’t set his tummy off. I’ve never known him so hungry. I couldn’t drink my usual tipple of red wine or gin in the morning but it’s surprising how a glass of fizz goes down nicely.

We are well installed at the hotel. It’s a lovely hotel one row back from Cafe Mambo on the Sunset Strip. We’ve never stayed this end of San Antonio before and I think I prefer it so far. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. Mr SA is asleep so I’m reading my book on the balcony and looking at the sea view. It’s quite cloudy but very warm. We had a bit of a storm but it soon cleared up. The forecast for tomorrow and Thursday is hot and sunny.
We had lunch in the hotel bar. Mr SA was happy because he had cheese baguette and chips 😆 I had pizza which Mr SA cadged some of.Took him for a walk in his wheelchair along the front which was hard work in the heat but nice anyway.
We’re half board so will go and watch the sunset then eat at the hotel. It won’t be a late one as I’ve been awake since around 1.30am when Mr SA put the TV on 🥱

Glad you arrived safely. Where does Mr SA put it all?? Baguette and chips after all he had at the airport….LOL I'd be stuffed. Enjoy the sunshine

I love an airport lounge… I got some passes as part of the gold @mex and I’m a complete convert.
