2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!2 -
Thank you all 😊
I’ve been on the go all day, I’ve only just sat down. I’ve done as much packing as I can, done bits need to be done in the morning.
Despite only going for 3 nights it’s unbelievable how much stuff we need. I have a friend who travels all over the world with just a rucksack and the very basics. I wish I could be more like that.
Alarm is set for 2.30 🥱 I wish the flight was a couple of hours later but at least we’ll be there well in time for lunch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪5 -
At least you’ll get to enjoy some of the arrival day. Have a fantastic time x

I'm glad you were able to find time to remember your mum today.
Good luck with getting MrSA up and out so early. Have a wonderful holiday.

Sending love on your mum's anniversary @Sun_Addict. I've often pondered using a company with a name something like Sendmy luggage as they take it away a week or so beforehand and it magically appears at your destination. Never have as can't believe there wouldn't be drama. Bon voyage! Humdinger xxx

I prefer going on holiday early in the morning and returning back home no later than teatime so I can have a bath, pj’s on and relax. The days of getting late flights back is over.
