The payment was for the time he was without a scooter. However he's paying more for the scooter he's been without for almost 4 weeks now. He has the courtesy scooter but it would be cheaper to rent.

Morning all, happy Friday. Payday and break up for holiday day too - woo hoo 😁

WFH today, swapped my days about this week.

Mr M delivery arrived at 6am.

I've been dithering over buying an air purifier for a while and finally bit the bullet this morning. I went for the 🦈one, it wasn't the cheapest by a long shot but has fantastic reviews and you don't have to buy a replacement filter for 6 years. Hopefully this will help Mr SA's bad hayfever/allergies and eliminate any pet/old house/cooking related smells.

So it's been a spendy day so far!

Payday finance check done and sent money to the sinking pots. Regular savers money is ready and waiting for after 1 September.

DD has gone to work so planning to give the kitchen a good clean this afternoon.

Today's exercise plan is yoga, dog walking and two live classes - Zumba at 11am and strength training at 5pm.

Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted yellowfin sole with wedges and steamed veg. I made a smoky veggie sausage bean stew for dinner last night and there's enough left for today's lunch.

Afternoon (almost evening) all and happy Saturday 🥂

Had my holiday nails done this morning have gone for coral topped with gold glitter.

After that went to Lid! Phoned Mr SA to say I was on my way to Lid! and I had done the shopping and was halfway home before he eventually appeared. Annoyingly they were out of small packs of coriander so had to buy a big one as it was a crucial ingredient for tonight’s dinner. I’ll try and use as much of it as I can over the next couple of days. I haven’t had much success growing it this year unfortunately.

Picked up the free Gr£ggs sausage roll courtesy of 🐙 on the way home which Mr SA enjoyed with a coffee when we got home.

The air purifier arrived at lunchtime. It was super easy to set up and has been running a few hours now. It’s saying the air quality is around 99% in the house at the moment. The air does feel a bit fresher so hopefully it’s doing its job.

Cleaned the bathroom. Shampooed the landing carpet. As always shocked at the colour of the water and the amount of hair it picked up.

DS and the GKs arrived just after lunch. DD was working but left her gaming set up on for them to use.

Still haven’t got the suitcases out 😬

Todays’s exercise has been lots of walking.

Tonight’s dinner is a repeat of the spicy tofu with avocado, coriander and lime crema I made a few days ago as it was so delicious. Having it in a coriander wrap with sweet potato fries. Anyone get the general idea I like coriander 🤣 Prosecco in the fridge for later.
