Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I’ve had a fairly relaxing day apart from a bit of cleaning and gardening. I was relaxing on my sun bed reading in the sunshine when Mr SA phoned to say he’d had a fall so had to rescue him 😞
Had lots of lovely cards and some sunflowers and Prosecco from DD. DS phoned. Already had wine and flowers from him a couple of weeks ago.
Couldn’t have wished for better weather for my birthday it’s been beautiful.Just about to get showered and ready for a birthday meal out at the local pub. Must remember to take the gift card I bought a few weeks ago. I have a voucher for 25% off a bottle of Prosecco.
Had loads of freebies from various apps, free cake mostly.
Mr SA put £10 in my birthday card and was keen for me to go out and spend it locally. Reminded him most shops round here are closed on Sunday. He thought I could spend it in the charity shop 😆 I’ll use it to buy coffee on my way to work. The thought was there anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
There's a real 'aw' factor in that tenner in the birthday card - coffees on the way to work are the perfect way to spend it. I hope this evening's meal is delicious and I'm sure the Prosecco will wash it down nicely!

Mr SA really enjoyed his fish and chips tonight and also beer poured from a pump not a can. I had rainbow lasagne and salad which was ok. I’ve made better to be honest but it was just nice not to have to cook for once.
Bumped into the painter who was sitting outside with a pint. He said he’d get back to me with a start date.
