Happy Birthday Weekend - and especially for Sunday, the actual day.

    🎂

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?

The answer to that is I don’t know. He’s already outlived expectations. I’m just going to take it one day at a time and cross any bridges as they come.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

    Happy Saturday 🥳

Today has revolved around an epic trek to the retail park via the big Mr T. The main aim of going to the retail park was to pick up some more of the expanding trellis I bought earlier in the year from BnM. Unfortunately all the garden stuff was being cleared out to make way for Halloween and Christmas stocks. However I did come out with a metal trough planter reduced from £10 to £2 and several pumpkin shaped items and two pumpkin tea towels 🤣 I am a tad obsessed with pumpkins 😆

So I still haven’t got the trellis but plenty of pumpkins 🎃

On the way back we passed a church giving away loads of free food rescued from being thrown away. Help yourself the sign said. I picked a bag of salad leaves and a huge ciabatta loaf. The amount of bagged salad leaves/rocket about to go to waste was shocking.

Mr SA’s courtesy scooter started to lose power on the way home. It’s smaller than his usual one and just not powerful enough to tackle the hills round here. I had to push him up the hill some of the way. I was so relieved to get back on the flat and the scooter was fine after that.

Grabbed some lunch when we got home then Mr SA and the dog went for a siesta while I read my book and pottered around in the garden. I had already done over 20,000 steps all in one go so welcomed a sit down.

Tonight’s dinner was pizza, wedges and salad. Rose Prosecco has been opened 🥂Watching The Voice, some brilliant singers tonight. I watch it until Strictly starts then it gets sacked off 😆

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪
