Good that Mr SA has had something productive to occupy him, although after the bread situation I should think he was best off making sure he was being useful! Glad you got a bit of downtime to read anyway, and you had a nice day off.

Blimey, Ibiza has come round quick. Make sure to post lots of smug photos while we're all sitting here in torrentials 😁🥂

Perhaps, like the monarch, you should find yourself an additional birthday - then you could pick up half your freebies in November or some other time which is otherwise unrewarded. That's certainly a lovely haul you've listed.

    Morning all.

WFH today so had my nice relaxing start to the day reading.

Almost finished my latest book so need to choose the next one. The next book may well be the holiday read so don't want to choose one too heavy in weight or heavy going. No doubt Mr SA will trawl out the same book he always takes on holiday. He keeps taking the same book with him and never gets past the first few pages. Annoyingly he has reading glasses but refuses to wear them as he thinks he's too young to need glasses, I don't know where he gets his ideas from.

The weather is looking rather dark and stormy here I've had to put a lamp on!

Payday eve so waiting until tomorrow to do the next finance check. Regular savers will all need topping up on the 1st but we'll be in Ibiza so they will have to wait a few days until we get back.

Today's exercise plan is dog walking, strength training and Zumba although the dog walking might not happen just yet looking at the weather forecast.

I need to see what needs using up for tonight's dinner. I've got some leftover roast veg from last night's roast veg risotto so that will go into a pitta bread or wrap for lunch.

I need to book the airport taxis so it won't be a NSD. All budgeted for in the holiday pot though.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

Well we still haven't made it out with the dog, it's poured with rain all day! Not complaining as we're desperate for it here after many weeks of drought. It's getting a bit brighter so we might make it out in a bit.

Airport taxis booked and paid for.

Checked cc balance and tried to pay it off but the app wouldn't let me. I'll try again tomorrow.

Had an underspend in my personal spends pot which will be replenished tomorrow so sent an oddment of £9.45 to the Christmas pot and the remainder to my master personal spends pot. I was going to treat myself to a jacket I really liked in MnS if I had the money leftover but unfortunately none left in my size - you snooze you lose 😞 Sometimes I dither so much over a purchase that I end up losing out. I'll check the shop when I'm next back in the city centre just in case.

The princely sum of the £13.48 Motability cheque has cleared so sent £3.48 to the Christmas pot and £10 to Mr SA's spend pot.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪
