Morning all, our last day already!
Mr SA is hard work, he doesn’t want to do anything but watch TV in the air con. He took a lot of persuading yesterday to go to the flamingo bar then have an hour on a sunbed. He seems to be doing nothing but stumble around sweating.
I’m determined tonight we will go up to Cafe Mambo to watch the sunset. It’s only 10 minutes walk away and the atmosphere is amazing. Last night by the time I finally got him out of the room the sun had set and all he wanted to do was stay in the hotel bar. So I’ve come to a compromise with him, he can choose where we eat lunch if I get to go to Cafe Mambo. I’ll have to motivate him to get ready earlier though.
Everything at home is fine but DD says the dog is missing us and keeps looking at the door.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -
The restaurant looks so pretty! Make sure you get your sunset before coming home 🌅.

After lunch Mr SA wanted to go back to the air con and TV so I had a look at the little high street nearby. It’s a proper Spanish high street rather than touristy and I ended up in a shop selling light bulbs and cat litter trays 🤣 After that sat on the balcony reading but decided it was too shady so left Mr SA asleep on the bed to find a sun bed round the pool for a bit. I stayed for an hour but it got extremely hot so started to head back to the room. Was very shocked to see Mr SA sat in the hotel bar minus his wheelchair!! He had made it down with his walking stick with the help of an elderly bloke! We’re now sat with a drink in the bar and I’m still shocked. It’s supposed to be 33 degrees here but feels more like 43.
We’re still on for Mambo tonight. Looking forward to that.
