On our way home now and at the airport. What a great airport it is too. Flight is at 1.30.
Looking forward to feet up with the dog tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪5 -
I remember that airport - we attended a family wedding on Ibiza and met lots of the people again at the airport! A few of us were going to Newcastle (I think, may have been Manchester) and the ones for Scotland were headed for Schiphol, but it sort of extended the celebration to see them again.
Have a good flight!

Well we’re fully installed back home now after a very smooth flight. We got home about 4.30 ish.
The dog was overjoyed to see us.
I enjoyed a lovely soak in the bath with relaxing music. I miss Ibiza but not getting ready to go out every night.
I’m absolutely shattered so it won’t be a late one. Amazing how such a short flight wears you out.
Time to start coming back down to earth tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪8 -
The quickest way to get over it all, is to book another break, I used to find. I think we always need something to look forward to.

Morning all.
Back to reality day 1.Mr M delivery arrived at 7.30 and didn’t realise until after the driver had gone that of the freezer deal 8 items for £10 I only received 1 item. Checked the receipt and had been charged for the 8 so he must’ve left a bag on the van. I’ve requested a refund and to be honest he’s probably done me a favour as I don’t really have room for them without a big reorganisation.
If Mr SA ever gets up the plan is to take the dog on the park then the rest of the day will be spent washing, ironing, unpacking cases, cleaning up and tidying the garden. The tomato plants look severely battered so will harvest any fruit then compost the plants. Same will go for the courgettes I think. I’ve not had the best year for produce, probably a combination of hot weather and me not having a lot of time to tend to them. Not helped by Mr SA jet washing everything no doubt!
The dog slept next to me all night nestled into my arm. The old cat seems pleased to see me but the young one doesn’t care either way as long as she’s fed 😆We were going to have pizza for dinner tonight but as it didn’t arrive it will have to be veggie burger (beef for Mr SA).

The suitcases are unpacked, 4 loads of washing done, took the dog on the park, cut the grass, did loads of ironing.
Mr SA has been acting very strange. He took the dog out after lunch, came back, faffed about with his scooter for a bit then took the dog out again as he’d forgotten he’d already taken her out. I’m hoping it’s just because he’s tired but he’s been very confused.
He’s had to phone the scooter place again as the seat is broken now! He’s had to only got it back Monday then didn’t use it again until today. I noticed this morning the seat didn’t look right.
I nipped out to the local shops for a TV guide as Mr SA likes to scour them to plot out his viewing. I stopped off at the charity shop and bought a set of 3 lovely glasses for £3.
Also bought online 2 jars of T£mple Sp@ Repose night cream which I love and it always seems to be on a good offer around this time of year.
Did a couple of surveys. Didn’t cash out last month as I had more pending than payable meaning so far got almost £30 head start to September.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪5 -
That's a lot of washing for a 4 day break. Good job the weather is good for drying.
Hope Mr SA is ok. Probably the flight tired him out. I'm always tired after a holiday.
