I'd love a DW. We don't really have room with the way the kitchen is designed….and not much chance of getting a new kitchen for a few years.…lol. I keep saying, when we win the lottery I want one. Would love a bigger freezer as well, think it would help be save more with batch cooking & buying yellow stickered items etc.

Evening all.
Today has passed in a blur.
Had a very small Mr M delivery first thing as I needed a few things that Mr S doesn’t sell so split this week’s grocery order between the two.
Did a live yoga class then went into the office using remaining time on the bus ticket I bought yesterday.
Had a quick look in Primani en route and came out with a pumpkin shaped candle and some autumn foliage.
Stayed in the office until 3pm then logged off for the day. That’s my 3 days in the office done this week.
Walked home via Lid! and picked up a few fresh bits. They had reduced the butternut squash to 29p a kilo so stocked up.
The painter came round to calculate paint quantities.
After that it was time for Zumba.Tonight’s dinner was a portion of veggie lasagne from freezer stocks with salad.
Had a lovely soak in the bath, now chilling before bed.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪5 -
That's a good price on the squash. I love squash, but.always feel there's such a lot of waste.

Afternoon all, happy Friday eve. This first week back at work is flying by.
WFH today 🎉Lovely relaxing start to the day with coffee and my book.
DD has gone to work so need to make time to clean the kitchen and bathroom.
Washing is on the line as it's dry, sunny and windy.
Mr SA has been to fetch a bag of sand from the local builder's merchants. We need it to finish off the drive re-sanding.
Quick finance check done. Nothing to clear off the cc as I did it yesterday.
Today's exercise short yoga session (done), dog walking (done) lunchtime strength training and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is nutty sweet potato, spinach and lime stew.
Mr SA has just had a phone call to say there's been suspicious activity on the credit card with transactions of £1400 and £1000. Thankfully he ended the call without interacting but was worried so I went on the app and showed him proof it was an attempt to scam him. The only things pending are yesterday's purchases and the bag of sand from today. If it was a genuine call they wouldn't call him anyway as I'm the primary card holder. I check the app every day so would know if there was anything untoward.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪5 -
Ooh, lucky Mr SA didn't engage with them. Its all very worrying these days isn't it?
Your stew sounds lovely. Where is the recipe from?

This is the recipe:
Nutty sweet potato and lime stew recipe | Sainsbury's Magazine
I usually don't bother with the peanut topping as I only buy them at Christmas as a treat for Mr SA 😆It doesn't make it any less tasty though.

Ooh that looks tasty. Thanks SA. I'd be leaving out the garlic & onion though...lol

Thank goodness Mr SA didn’t interact with scammers. There’s a lot of folk with no conscience 🤬🤬🤬it pays to be on your guard all the time. And remember there are still more good than bad guys.😄 My SIL had £20,000 scammed from her account as she believed everything the scammers said. This was in her early days of dementia. After that her daughter activated POA. She did get the money back via the bank but we end up paying for that in the long run.

It’s scary with these scammers especially when vulnerable people get involved. When my dad nearly got scammed he decided to hand all his cards and accounts to me. He said he was relieved that he could tell anybody who called that they had to contact me and he didn’t need to worry anymore.

I think I posted about how I was almost scammed when they used my banks actually anti fraud response and official messages to try to get me.
