Morning all, happy sunny Saturday 😎
I’ve been up since just after 5, the dog wanted to go out, then the cats wanted feeding so I decided to stay up.I joined a Spring into Action boot camp challenge on my WW app last week as I’m on the countdown to my holibobs and like to drop a few pounds for such purposes. It’s really focused my mind and motivated me and I’ve stuck to tracking what I eat properly since Monday. Anyway I’ve lost 1lb. Pleased with that as I only really want to lose 4lbs in total. Hopefully I’ll be just as motivated this coming week.Exercise today is ClubFit in an hour then need to take the dog for a run on the park. Also need to nip to the local shops. As the weather is so nice it will be all about garden tidying today. I also need to repot some the sugar snap peas, mangetout and butternut squash plants as they’re bursting out of the propagator like triffids.Tonight’s dinner is butternut squash dhal one of my favourites to make. Rose cava is chilling in the fridge ready for me to open tonight and fall asleep after one glass 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
That’s amazing SA. I have been genuinely tracking everything for 2 weeks and haven’t shifted a pound. I was sticking at 1400 cals, but am trying this week at 1300 with a lot more movement. Your boot camps must really help.Dinner sounds delicious. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I’ve really found this boot camp motivating and the challenges change every Sunday. I love anything like this. I very much miss going to face to face meetings as this is what kept me focused and I enjoyed the social side of it. However the online group is very supportive. One woman in the group is 71 and lost 6 stones a few years ago, she has an amazing figure now. No one is going to be interested in my story as I only lost a stone 22 years ago so I’m not very inspiring. Although I have kept it off apart from the odd couple of pounds fluctuation now and then.WinterWarrior said:That’s amazing SA. The lovely day turned to rain this afternoon 😞 I was on a roll in the garden so got a bit wet as I was determined to finish what I started. Anyway I’ve filled the garden waste bin again and it looks a lot tidier.Mr SA appeared from his afternoon nap just as it started raining so missed out being of any help, funny that 😐I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Absolutely typical. I went to have a shower tonight and couldn’t get any hot water through. I reset the boiler but no joy. Ended up just freshening up in the sink. DD wanted a bath so warned her about the water situation but apparently no problem for her. However water was pouring through the kitchen ceiling. Went upstairs to tell her and she admitted she may have overfilled the bath 😞 The bath is enormous and I never fill it. Anyway she let some water out and the leaking stopped. Annoyingly she was only in it 10 minutes. Thankfully she rarely has a bath but what a waste of hot water 😕 Other people 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
