Glad you're okay. I hope the leak's not too big a problem.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

He managed to turn off the radiator so there’s no new water coming out. It’s upset the boiler though and I’ve had to re-pressurise it and reset it twice. Funnily enough I’ve spotted this particular plumber’s van parked down the road and wondered about ringing him about repairing the sink.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

So would you recommend him to yourself?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Our CH is ancient and every so often a radiator rusts through and springs a leak, never any obvious reason why. Last time we realised because the water had slowly soaked through the ceiling and was slowly ping ping pinging into a metal vase on the windowledge below. Brilliant that you have found someone to sort it so quickly. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

It has transpired that the radiator “fell” off the wall earlier in the day and Mr SA “fixed” it. He had propped it up with a little set of drawers so when I moved them to clean the it fell again. It caught the side of my leg which is now very sore so I suspect there’ll be a corker of a bruise there tomorrow. When I was doing the live Zumba class earlier I heard a smoke alarm going off and thought it was ours at first - it was hers and she had to disappear to check it out 😆 All was fine by the way.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
