Morning all, happy Tuesday.
WFH today. After last night's rain the sun has come out so better get some washing done, make the most of it.
Mr M delivery been and all packed away, nothing missing or subbed. Only a small order this week and used £25 of my vouchers on it so cost less than £50.
The downside of it being lighter in the mornings is Mr SA is getting up early. I usually get peace and quiet until at least 8am, sometimes nearer 9, but he's started getting up at 7.30. Makes it a long day.
Finances checked this morning and all ok halfway through the 4 week budget period. Not long to go to payday either as thanks to the Bank Holiday will get paid next Thursday.
I've got a really busy morning at work with back to back meetings starting at 9am running through until lunchtime.
Mr SA has a GP phone consultation about his falls this afternoon so I've blocked out that time in my calendar so I can have my say or he'll get fobbed off. They will try to do as little as possible we've been down this route before.
Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park but will have to be soon or it won't happen until lunchtime, live bums & tums at 12.30 and resistance bands at 6.45.
Supposed to be going to a friends of the park meeting tonight but will see how I feel. I always say I don't feel like going then end up enjoying it. We are planning a summer event on the park.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of butternut squash stew left over from Sunday. Spiced courgette soup for lunch.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Hoping you managed to get some joy from the phone consultation - it's probably already happened but in case not - remember that "no" is a complete sentence!
The spilled coffee is something that drives me barmy - in our case it's ground stuff, and yes, it does spill out a bit when you spoon it out of the grinder container into the little metal thing for the machine - but I just grab the mini hover and clear it straight up when I do it, so why can MrEH not do the same?! I refuse to do it myself now - we are undergoing a period of retraining when he gets called over to deal with it himself! That in turn annoys him, and eventually the two things will connect!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I echo OBL, We recently changed the blind on our kitchen window, and not only does it look lovely, it means we get at least an extra hours undisturbed sleep... Dusty doggo doesn't come in until 8am now! Blackout blinds may feel alien to you SA, as I remember you saying you don't like the bedroom curtains closed, but it might be worth getting used to?
Hope the GP consultation was useful this afternoon. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2 -

The GP consultation was cancelled by text message 🤬 However he called them and rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon so fingers crossed 🤞
We only have voile panels on the bedroom window as we’re not overlooked and I have a phobia of the dark. It’s a childhood phobia I never grew out of, I have to have a chink of light or I panic and can’t breathe. We have a big bay window so blinds wouldn’t be straightforward. I’ll have to put up with Mr SA getting up early for a few months 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
