  • Ooh eight whole weeks since someone with a ridiculously serious medical record could have killed themselves falling AGAIN and eight whole weeks since a woman could've ended up in hospital herself trying to aid him AGAIN. Clearly he's cured and your life is hunky blimmin dory.
Glad the referrals are occurring, hopefully something will at least help, for both your sakes.
It'll cost them a lot more if he has to go into a care home because he sustains serious injuries or you're injured or feel you can no longer take adequate care of him. You'd think they'd be falling over themselves (pun not intended!) to do anything possible to keep him at home with you

    You're amazing x

I am glad they are moving all be it slowly. It has taken too long. I hope Mr SA co operates and doesnt try to down play the problems. I am sure he wont. Perhaps when the OT comes point out your size compared to his and how long he could be lying on a cold floor if he falls and you cant help him up. Then all you have to do is persuade him to use any aids they give hi. (hollow laugh).

@warby68. I am intrigued by the trolly/table but I am really struggling to visualise it.
If you google home helper trolley those are the closest to mum's. It looks a bit more like furniture than the rollators which have full handles and brakes although, thinking about it Mr SA might be better with brakes .

Morning all, happy Friday eve, the worst part of the working week is done.

@warby68 I remember having a sort of zimmer frame thing with a basket and tray when I broke my ankle. It was very handy for moving things from A to B.

WFH today. Hoping for a quiet working day where I can get on with prepping for the two events I'm involved with next week.

It will be NSD7 of March today.

Today's exercise will be taking the dog on the park later this morning, a lunchtime stretch & tone session and Zumba tonight.

Tonight's dinner is *new recipe alert* sticky tofu stir fry with broccoli. I've rediscovered one of my old WW cookbooks and enjoying trying some different recipes out of it. Already made the spiced courgette soup which was lovely. Tomorrow I'm trying miso glazed salmon with braised leeks. Must remember to press the tofu.

I need to give the bathroom and living room a good clean in between logging off and my Zumba class.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

The spiced courgette soup looks good! Handy when I have two courgettes that didn't get used as per plan. :)
