well done on the vouchers - as @Willowtree222 says it might be a good week to buy a couple of lottery tickets. if you win the lottery and @PennysIntoPounds wins the Premium Bonds and/or the multi million pound Omaze house that would be a mighty fine result for MSE.happy Friday. Enjoy your weekend which I hope will be uneventful (apart from the lottery draw)3

We do the lottery by direct debit but only have one line on a Saturday.Unfortunately the universe doesn’t smile on me Mr SA wise. 7 phone calls from him today while I was at work! Plus when I got home he’d got his recently discarded man bags out of the charity bag, as he’s changed his mind about getting rid. He’d also got his holiday clothes out and had earmarked his best pair of holiday shorts for sleeping in tonight. He also got out the canvas shoes he’d put away for holiday to keep them clean and has decided to wear them now and get a new pair. What annoys me is that there are so many little bits of jobs he could do in the garden to lighten my load but instead he’s faffing about with bags, shoes and shorts 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I think you've previously mentioned about not being able to have a single spare bed in the spare room because there's gym equipment cluttering it up? If it's not being used could you possibly sell or donate it then put a wee bed in there with a blackout blind for Mr SA to have his Super Exciting Man Room for when he wants to watch TV late or research pesters 'in private'?
Or failing that, clear it out discreetly and put charity shop bags in there instead...2 -
Lovely about your second voucher!
How exasperating about Mr SA. Just when you thought those bags were going... I'm not sure how things went with the spending money but might there be some way of 'reimbursing' him for donating? Even if it's a pound or so per item - tell him it's a way of making space for the things he can then buy on holiday, perhaps? So if he gets rid of five items, it's a tenner of spending money for him, and space at home for both of you. Meanwhile, it's sounding as though charity bags need somehow to 'disappear' as soon as they are filled, or sooner.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
