I think the coffee thing is a man thing.  My DS cannot make a coffee without slopping some on the worktop.  Ever!  On top of that he just doesn't seem to notice.  After I have drunk mine I just go & mop up the mess.  At least he knows where the kettle is so he isn't too bad.

We only have voile panels on the bedroom window as we’re not overlooked and I have a phobia of the dark. It’s a childhood phobia I never grew out of, I have to have a chink of light or I panic and can’t breathe. We have a big bay window so blinds wouldn’t be straightforward. I’ll have to put up with Mr SA getting up early for a few months 😆
I am the same I hate the very heavy curtains they have in hotels as you wake up in pitch black. My curtains are thin cotton and there is a street light almost outside.

That’s so hard SA. It’s just embarrassing when they rock up like a personal stalker, so I’m very glad he didn’t. MrWW once came looking for me when I was on a dog walk (I had stopped to have a nice chat with a neighbour and her dog) and I was furious. I was so glad I wasn’t talking to her at the time he raced up in (my) car saying he thought dog might have needed ferrying back (she had form for going a bit wobbly). If I had needed assistance I would have just rung! He has never done it again though, thank goodness. I think he realised he had crossed a stalker line. After the first MrWW, I couldn’t do that again!
I don’t think they realise how important freedom and autonomy is for women, who in recent history had that taken away from them…
