Sorry to her your dd is back in hospital. I hope she gets home soon. Losing a bit of hair which will regrow is not the worst thing that could happen and would hopefully stop the headaches. Sorry to hear they all have covid as well.

Morning all, happy Thursday.
Thank you for all your good wishes for DIL.
WFH today - hooray! I've been productive with my extra breakfast time and have put a colour on my hair, earned £1.60 on a survey and have done the first of today's Spanish lessons.
I need to go to Lid! this morning, it's a fair walk so I'll be multi tasking by getting a good step count in the bag early.
Today's exercise will be a steps goal of 15,000 plus a lunchtime live stretching session. Might do another workout after work.
The charity shop are coming to pick up the bags tomorrow so I need to get them ready for Mr SA to handover as I'll be in the office. It will be great to free up some space in the cupboard.
I'm making a Quorn lasagne for dinner tonight, will make 4 portions so 3 for the freezer.
I still need to do something about opening a decent interest bearing account for the sinking funds. I've been with my bank for over 30 years and the savings interest rates are appalling at 0.55% considering other places are offering far better rates. I suppose this is what you get for being a loyal customer. Maybe it's time I switched banks.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
That's a really poor rate. Thought ours was bad at 1.5%.2

I’m the same with my bank. It’s 0.6%, but the thought of looking elsewhere is off putting. I don’t like those limited time deals, I just want somewhere to plonk it without having to keep changing!I hope the lasagne is good.

I have multiple bank accounts and keep some savings in Chase pots, it's 2.7%aer. I also use that card for regular spending as it gives 1% cash back.
If you manage to get a Barclays blue current account you can open a Rainy Day saver and get 5.12%aer for up to 5k. Annoyingly they only offered me a basic current account, not a blue rewards one.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
03.07.2023 - CC (0%) £9,859 / Loan £0 / Savings £10,1103
