Bank of Dave is good. So is the book3

So it ended up a spending day after all. I chose one of my many cookbooks to plan my meals for next week and went to add the ingredients to my Mr M order. Everything was out of stock. So decided to walk up to Aldi to source ingredients, got most but frustratingly not all. Ended up walking to Iceland where I was very pleasantly surprised to pick up the rest of the things I wanted and noted quite a few things were significantly cheaper than Aldi on the frozen food front.Had to do a freezer Tetris shuffle so made yet another list of what I’ve got in there.I’m almost on 20,000 steps for today what with the shopping and dog walking. Did a 20 minute live yoga session from the FitOn app.Made a batch of carrot and coriander soup for work lunches and had a stir fry tonight as a nod to Chinese New Year. This week’s total survey cash out is £12.94 so have exceeded my £10 a week target.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I like Iceland more than Aldi for frozen stuff as well, but I suppose it is what they specialise in. I like to go on a Tuesday sometime as its 10% disc for over 60s...and unfortunately I qualify...lol

That's another manic Monday done.
Worked in the office until lunchtime then came home to finish up.
In money news today is NSD 7, I've made 4 days worth of payments to catch up with the 1p a day savings challenge, paid off the cc balance, checked my finances and updated my budget spreadsheet. Still another week to go to payday!
Exercise wise I've walked to/from work and will do a FitOn abs workout later. Hoping to hit 20,000 steps by the end of the day.
I've opted in to the power saving hour at 5pm so need to persuade Mr SA to watch the small TV upstairs for an hour rather than the huge one downstairs. He wouldn't be able to last an hour without his precious TV!
Started watching Bank of Dave last night but unfortunately fell asleep half way through. Not helped by the fact Mr SA has the TV on at a barely audible level, I keep asking him to turn up the volume but he keeps sneaking it back down again. He tries to make out it's my hearing but even DS commented on how low he has it. He's obsessed with Gogglebox and watches it every night, even really old episodes he finds on obscure channels and ones he's recorded. I think what he's doing is turning down the TV really low so I fall asleep and he can watch Gogglebox! If I nod off even for a few seconds I can guarantee I'll wake up to it on. Very annoying!
Tonight's dinner is leftover curry from Saturday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
We love Gogglebox, but couldn't be doing with watching old episodes. Love Giles & Mary on there, they make me laugh. We've got yesterday's left overs, some lovely chicken and some roasties left over. Just got to do a few more veg to go with it.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Morning all, WFH today, so nice not to have to trek out in the cold and dark.
Was rudely awoken at 3.30am by Mr SA switching the TV on "to see what was on". No doubt looking for Gogglebox! It took me a while to get back to sleep. It's alright for him he doesn't get up until around 9, I have to get up by 5.30 at the latest 🥱
Mr M delivery has been and packed away, no missing items or subs.
I need to pick up the older cat's flea and worm treatment from the vet today. Also must phone the charity shop that picks up donations as I have quite a lot of bags for them in the cupboard under the stairs.
Today's money dealings are another payment to the 1p saving challenge, a £3 off frozen food voucher from Mr M only spent 49p and got £3 off, 15% staff discount off my shop courtesy of DD, plus hoping to do a couple of surveys.
Exercise will be walking to the vets (it's a good distance away), lunchtime live bums & tums session plus live resistance band training tonight.
