Doing another energy saving thing again today 4.30 until 6. A bit inconvenient but I’ve opted in. I need to clean the kitchen and bathroom but will try and use as little electricity as possible.

3.30 am!! Is having a separate bedroom a possibility so you don't get woken by Mr SA when he decides to do this?  Not really fair if you are having to get up for work.

We have a spare bedroom but it’s only small and full of gym equipment. So not an option. I make him switch it off but it has already disturbed me by then.

DIL is back in hospital and needs the fluid draining from her brain again 🙁 She went to the GP with a really bad headache and he sent her straight to A&E. She must be so fed up of it.

Mr SA has no concept of time or even what day it is. He guards remote controls with his life. I’m not allowed anywhere near them. He’d better not switch the TV on in the early hours tomorrow because I need to get up at 5am.

  • So sorry to hear about DIL. My mum had similar situation many years ago, although hers was due to begign tumour. Eventually they inserted shunts to keep the fluid draining.
