Same here with £7, but worth mentioning it has to be used by 17th Feb.

The Foodbanks will always ask for the basics, but any other items go onto the ‘treat table’ for customers to choose from.

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office this morning until 11 again then came home. I took a slight detour to H&B to utilise the £7 off. I picked up a pack of edamame noodles, black bean noodles, soya chunks and 2 packs of bean snacks. Just 48p to pay - bargain 😁
WFH this afternoon then that's the two worst working days of the week done. I must admit I walked to work with a spring in my step this morning knowing I wouldn't have to do the pavement pounding again until Friday.
I recently bought a cordless jet washer after a Mr SA pester which I had agreed would be very useful. Mr SA can't get it to work. He sat for a good part of the day on Sunday putting it together. I've been online and jotted down a few troubleshooting ideas. I'll have a proper look at it myself tomorrow when I have more time as it may well be a step Mr SA has missed out when putting it together. If it still doesn't work it will have to be a call to customer services.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and I'm doing a live resistance bands workout at 6.15. I also plan to do a short yoga/stretching session at some point this afternoon.
DD is at work so I'm hoping to be able to do at least a bit of kitchen cleaning. I didn't really get the opportunity on Sunday as Mr SA was faffing about in the sink with the jet washer and as soon as he cleared off DD arrived home from work and went straight in there. It's so annoying when you can't get in rooms to give them a good thorough clean. With DD it's the kitchen and bathroom and Mr SA the bathroom, bedroom and living room.
Tonight's dinner is leftover Sri Lankan curry from Sunday. I'm loving this 'cook once eat twice' theme to the week.

We like 'Cook.once, eat twice' too. It saves time & often a bit of money too.

Sri Lankan curry sounds good

Another fan of cook once eat twice - not least because if the thing is delicious the first time round, you really look forward to eating the second portion!

I need a bigger pan. Why is it when they get above a certain size they have those silly little handles.

Hope you get the jet washer working ok.

I use my wok mainly for cooking larger amounts. However I made sure I got a lightweight one as I had one in the past I could barely lift with two hands let alone one it was so heavy. I've got a huge pan with a long handle I got free a couple of years ago with a magazine subscription and also one I bought from an Asian supermarket but I still prefer my wok.
