I exchanged the voucher I got from work for an MnS gift card and ordered a pack of 2 sports bras while they were on their final day of 20% off. Not very exciting I know but needed.
Have also done a few Opinium surveys and a YG one. So close to cashing out £50 on YG now.
Tempted by the C0 0p offer on the dine in for £10. Especially as I’ve got £1.25 off in the app. I don’t often shop there despite having two stores very close by and a small outlet at the train station across from work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I won 50p on the C00p scratch card thing on app, plus have 20p off any W**b**t*ns product, so will probably get crumpets or a decent reduced loaf.

Happy soggy Wednesday.
WFH today although the start to the day wasn't as relaxing as it usually is. I'd just settled on the sofa with my book and coffee when Mr SA phoned me from bed to tell me the dog wanted to get up. Sorted the dog out and sat back down when DD got up, put the kitchen lights on and started crashing about in there. Then the Mr M delivery arrived. Just managed to finish my coffee before it got cold and put the shopping away before it was time to log on.
I think I'm going to just work 6 hours today. DD has gone to work and it's her longer day so she doesn't get back until after 7 usually. I can't think of a better opportunity to catch up with the cleaning, I've got plenty of flexi and nothing in my calendar work-wise so the time would be well spent. It would give me a good 3 hours or so to get stuff done.
Mr SA's new chair is being delivered some time this morning, we have a 3 hour delivery slot. We need to get the old chair outside at some point and I'll see if the council will take it away. I'll no doubt have to clean the floor where the old chair has been, it doesn't matter how many times I clean that area there always seem to be crumbs and stains under his chair.
Mid-week finance check done and cc balance cleared. No oddments for the Christmas pot today.
Today's exercise is live yoga (done), dog walking at some stage and live Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is leftover orzotto from Monday.

Our council charge to take away large items. Which I always think is wrong when you consider how many things they can collect on 1 trip

Our council charges £25 for one item or 2-3 for £12.50 each or 4-9 items for £7.50 each. So I might as well wait until I have another bulky item and pay £25. They used to charge £7.50 per item!

Mr SA's chair is here and the delivery men kindly dismantled his old chair and put it outside. Fortunately we have a long drive and it won't be too noticeable at the side of the bins. Just need to find one more bulky item for the council to collect and I'll book a collection. Might as well have them collect two things for the price of one. It's a shame the chair didn't come when we still had the skip.
I've booked this afternoon out in my calendar so hopefully I'll be able to get lots done. We still need to take the dog out so that will be the first thing on the list then I'll crack on with the cleaning when Mr SA goes for his siesta.

Hope Mr SA enjoys his new chair. Our council charges too but unfortunately it has to be at the top of the driveway or they won’t take it.

I think most councils charge for bulky items collections now. Which is why this weekend we will be wedging a double mattress and two wardrobes into the car to take them too the tip!!

Morning all, happy Friday eve.
WFH again today and finally got my nice relaxing start to the day. I've even managed to do a couple of decent paying surveys.
Finishing early yesterday was a brilliant idea of mine and I managed to give the kitchen, bathroom and hallway a good clean while Mr SA slept. I'd just finished the bathroom though when he got up and headed straight for it. We have a cleaner at work who is always stressed and complaining about there being too many of us using the toilets and kitchen area - I know just how she feels except I don't have her closed for cleaning signs 🤣 I also managed to do two well paying surveys. I think I'll do that more often on a Wednesday when DD is at work if my working day allows.
I also found time to list and sort my herbs/spices drawer. I have far too many of them, although I do use them more or less daily.
Mr SA loves his new chair, the seat is higher so he can get out of it more easily. I'm sure he'll soon squash it down though.
Talking of Mr SA he had a very confused moment yesterday when he produced a 20p coin and asked me what it was. I said it's a 20p coin and he insisted it wasn't because 20p's have smooth edges. No matter what I said I couldn't convince him it wasn't a foreign coin.
He has the dentist today for the start of the expensive filling. He's done nothing but moan about it.
Today's exercise is dog walking either before or after Mr SA's dentist appointment, a live lunchtime strength training class and live Zumba at 5.15.
Trying another new recipe from Lid! for tonight's dinner: Teriyaki Tofu Traybake
I need to source a couple of tree surgeons to have a look at a large fir tree in the garden as it could do with a really good trim and maybe a few branches removing. I messaged one last week but haven't heard anything, although it was via an online form and I'm not convinced it reached him.
I also plan to get around to looking at the new jet washer and see if I can get it to work before I phone customer services.

Glad to hear you got your early morning peace . Hope the dentist visit isn’t to onerous for you and Mr SA .
