Caught Mr SA trying to sneak an extra beer 😞 It doesn’t matter where I hide them he eventually discovers them. But then he has the house to himself most days and plenty of time on his hands…
It’s very mentally draining this constant battle with him but I’m determined it’s one he’s not going to win 💪

Oh my days, I’ve just heard a cautionary tale from work friends that has confirmed my fear of getting in the lifts at work. Earlier this week one of the lifts broke and trapped 11 people for 2 hours. The lift engineers couldn’t give a time when they’d arrive so they had to call the fire brigade as some people were having panic attacks.
My worst nightmare as I’m claustrophobic 😱I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Eek. That would give me the fear.

Afternoon all, happy Saturday 🥂
Had a lovely relaxing start to the day as DD went to work and Mr SA didn’t get up until after 8am.
As the weather was so lovely and sunny we took the dog on a local park a bit further away and also dropped off some electrical recycling. While we were in the vicinity I went in Ald! and picked up a few things Lid! don’t have. Mr SA sat outside C0sta with a coffee while I went in the C00p for the Valentines meal deal. They didn’t have much left so in the end I got Mr SA a steak for tonight and also some milk as I had 20p off. With the money off vouchers I got both for £4. I’d forgotten how rubbish this particular C00p is and remembered why I don’t often go in there. After lunch I did some garden tidying and planted the two roses and primulas I bought from Lid! earlier this week.
I checked the greenhouse and noticed the beach grass seeds I brought back from Ibiza are growing really well. I’ve moved the mini greenhouse to the covered area where Mr SA keeps his scooter ready for when it’s safe to move seed crops out there. It’s easier to look after them closer to the house if the weather isn’t great.
Tonight’s dinner is stir fry as I bought some straight to wok chilli noodles from Ald! which have set off stir fry cravings.
Exercise has been almost 18,000 steps, although not quite finished yet so could well be 20,000 plus before I put my feet up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
That would be my worst nightmare with the lifts too. I very rarely use ours as there are signs on them saying make sure you carry a mobile!

Ohh that would be awful. DH once locked me in car by accident while he walked to pay machine in car park. Even though I knew he'd be back in couple of minutes, I hated it.

Even scarier there’s no phone signal in the lifts at work apparently. One of my friends is a manager and was concerned when a team member hadn’t turned up when expected. She phoned his emergency contact which got them worried. He was trapped in the lift with no way of letting anyone know 😬
