  • Found this article. It states the name of the owner (or former owner) of express/yes mobiles. Wondered whether this might help people in claiming refunds via the legal route????

(P.S. Sorry if you're not really suppose to post these kind of web-links)

Just like i said it would, it was just a delaying tactic .the same person who set up Yes mobiles, Telco, Express mobile has now set up a new company Business Phones Direct and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Trading Standards, Consumer Direct and Offcom are all so crap, no help at all and just let companies like this do what they like

I am also in the position of being about to pay £55 to send bailiffs in for £265 which I am owed. My contract is with Yes-Mobiles who are on the Companies House website as still being trading, although Express Mobiles were disolved last year. Does anyone know if we can not just put the address for Business Phones Direct on the paperwork for the bailiffs instead? (The form does ask you to confirm or change the address)

Business Phones Direct has the same address as Telco/Pemier Telecom.

If you pay this £55, but the bailiff fails, then the £55 is lost as well as the £265. (It's been posted above that Yes are now bust, and note no-one has posted to say they have been successful when using the bailiff to enforce a ccj).
  • There seems to be several companies linked with the Express Mobiles Chequeback Scam. Firstly Yes Mobiles Ltd was re-registered from Ralls Asbestos Removal Services Limited as a 'non-trading' company, it seems by doing this they were giving out false hope with a fresh identity, it seems that it has also helped to palm off Hampshire Trading Standards (not difficult you say - I couldn't possibly comment!).

There are several other 'associated' companies still registered at the Hussar Court address in Hampshire, which are Telco Limited and these that I haven't actually seen mentioned in the various forums on the Net (forgive me if I'm wrong):-
4 All Limited, previously 4 All (Southern) Limited
    Redcat Media Limited
    Redcat Holdings Limited
Business Phones Direct Limited and Premier Telecom Limited seem to be the latest and have a registered address at a Trading Estate 15 miles from the last registered address (also a Trading Estate).

All- in-all the people behind the Express Mobiles scam seem to be doing very well on the back of their victims, maybe it’s time for some justice, perhaps we should all club together and set-up ‘Express Mobiles Scam Victims Limited’.

Gareth Edward Birkett of 9 Sartoris Close, Warsash, SO31 is Director of Express Mobiles and Business Phones Direct. Businesss Phones Direct are on the Companies House website as having moved from Express Mobiles' old address to their current address. Coincidence - I don't think so! I think if I'm not spending £55 on bailiffs, I might like to spend it on joining the 'Express Mobiles Conned Club' instead.

The point is - can we actually do anything - and what can we do - if there was something to be done I am sure there would be loads of support.

I wonder if that has anything to do with the Court case i have coming up against this group of companies / I had to send them all the document that I will be using in court, in that bundle was proof that Telco/ Yes Mobiles/ Express mobile/ Business Phones Direct. all operated their web sites from the same IP address run on the same network !!!
They would have received this on Monday 18th Aug. a few hours later the web sites disappeared.
